FR3 natural ester is a transformer insulating oil made from natural plant seeds, which can optimize the load capacity of the transformer, which is more cost-effective, safe and environmentally friendly.
Luo Yuchen, director of Cargill Bio-Industry China: The transformer insulating oil that is now commonly used in China is from mineral sources, based on new products such as soybean oil, which are deeply processed by grain and oil, and it can also be safer and have a series of advantages such as better fire standards.
Fr3 natural ester Yangjiang plant is Cargill's first FR3 plant in China, with an investment of 50 million yuan, the first phase of the project has been put into operation, the annual production capacity is expected to be 15,000 tons, will reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 16,800 tons compared with the use of the same amount of mineral oil.
