Chen Hongshou (1768–1822), a native of Qiantang (present-day Hangzhou, Zhejiang), was a calligrapher, painter and seal engraver. Zi Gong, number Man Sheng, Man Gong, Man Gong, Gong Shou, Seed Yu Xian Shi, Seed Yu Xianke, Lao Man, etc. He once served as Ganyu Daizhi County, Liyang Zhi County, and Jiangnan Haiphong Tongzhi.
Chen Hongshougong poetry, calligraphy and painting, good at making Yixing purple sand pot, people call its pot "Mansheng pot". Calligraphy is longer than lines, grasses, seals, and subordinates. The book is steep and elegant, and the opening of the book has a unique qing generation. The seal carving is bold, natural and casual, the sharp edge is revealed, the ancient clumsiness is arbitrary, and the sky is thick, which is one of the famous "Eight Houses of Xiling".
