On November 22, the Beidaihe New Area Workstation of the Qinhuangdao Coast Guard Bureau successfully rescued 5 people trapped in the waters outside the Sea Sightseeing and Fishing Administration Pier in the Bay of Dreams.
It is reported that at about 19:00 on November 22, the Beidaihe New District Workstation received a transfer from the 110 command center of the Beidaihe New District Bureau, saying that 4 tourists went to sea on a sightseeing cruise ship at about 15:00 on the same day, because the cruise ship malfunctioned, resulting in 4 tourists and 1 captain trapped in the bay of dreams about 100 meters outside the sea sightseeing and fishing wharf, 5 personnel have been trapped at sea for 4 hours, and are unwell, dizzy and headache, limb weakness, hunger and cold, urgent need for rescue.
After receiving the police, the Beidaihe New Area workstation immediately got in touch with the trapped tourists, determined the location of the detailed sea area, immediately dispatched personnel to the police, and maintained communication with the trapped personnel to calm their emotions. After the coast guard law enforcement officers arrived at the dock near the sea area of the incident by car, after on-site analysis and judgment, they found that the weather was bad, the sea surface was surging, the temperature had dropped to minus zero, it was the lowest tide of the water level, and the trapped cruise ship ran aground in the middle of the Yanghekou channel, and all kinds of boats could not get close. Coast Guard law enforcement officers responded quickly, found water to wad along the shore of the sightseeing pier to the trapped cruise ship to carry out rescue, after assisting the crew on board to fix the cruise ship, help the trapped people to wear the water, support and guide the trapped people to move ashore. After a two-hour rescue, all 5 trapped people were successfully rescued, boarded the Shanghai police equipped with vehicles for heating, recovered their strength and thanked the coast guard law enforcement officers and left.
