According to Yonhap News Agency reported on December 2, the South Korean government has commented on the Korean movie "Oh! Wen Ji said in Chinese mainland that this is "gratifying progress". When answering a reporter's question on the 2nd, a South Korean Foreign Ministry official said that next year is the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between South Korea and China and the year of Chinese exchanges between South Korea and China, including the release of South Korean films in China, and will actively communicate with the Chinese side to invigorate cultural exchanges between the two countries.

Oh! "Wen Ji" is a comedy film directed by Zheng Shijiao and starring Luo Wenji and Li Xijun, which will be released in China on the 3rd. According to the Global Times, after six years, the last time a Korean film was officially released in Chinese mainland was "Assassination" in September 2015, an anti-Japanese spy war film starring South Korean stars such as Jeon Ji-hyun and Lee Jeong-jae that grossed 46.86 million yuan at the Chinese box office.
