The Silence of the Lambs:

Clarice (Judy Foster)

Dr. Hannibal (Anthony Hopkins)

Clarice is an FBI trainee agent.

In her city, a series of murders have taken place, and the murderer is a perverted murderer who specializes in skinning women, "Bison Bill".

Clarice is ordered to visit Dr. Hannibal, a psychiatrist in a heavily guarded prison, in order to obtain information on the psychological behavior of criminals to help solve the case.

Hannibal, a middle-aged man with a high IQ, quick-witted but highly perverted personality, and a man-eater, asked Clarice to tell her personal experiences for her analysis in exchange for his assistance.

Soon, another female corpse appeared, and Clarice discovered two new clues: first, the deceased's back had been stripped of two diamond-shaped skins; second, there was a small finger-sized cocoon in the deceased's throat.

According to insect experts, this is a moth that originated in Asia, known as the "hell insect", and another woman was kidnapped, this time as the daughter of a senator.

Clarice asks the Doctor for help, who still psychoanalyzes her, and Clarice states that the most painful memories of her childhood were the days after her father's death.

The doctor suggests to Clarice that the characteristics of moths are change, from insects to pupae, and from pupa to moths, and "Bison Bill" also wants to change.

Due to the abuse of his stepmother in his childhood, Bill developed a perverted mentality, he went to three sex reassignment surgery centers, but was rejected...

Their conversation was eavesdropped by the attending physician Chitton, who wanted to take the lead, so he interrogated Hannibal, but to no avail.

The PhD was later transferred to another prison.

Clarice rushed to hear the news, and after some questioning, Hannibal learned why Clarice always heard the screams of the lamb.

But just as she asked the Doctor to name the killer, Chitton arrived with his guards to take Clarice away.

Soon, the Doctor opened his shackles using the wire of the ballpoint pen that Chiton had dropped, killing the guards and escaping.

Clarice, alone, continued to search for clues, gradually locking in on a man named James Gam.

Because he had mentioned a box of live caterpillars from Suriname at customs and had also been to a gender reassignment center.

Clarice finds "Buffalo Bill" where she and the killer have a fierce battle in the gloomy basement.

In the end, Clarice hits James and rescues the senator's daughter.

"Bill the Buffalo" was killed, but more dangerous figures reappeared.

At the celebration, Clarice received a call from Dr. Hannibal, and after hanging up, Hannibal wore sunglasses and entered the crowd silently.

Anthony Hopkins' top watch revisits the classics and discovers how many films have borrowed from it now... I love the metaphor of the silent lamb, though I'm not sure what it alludes to.

Although he can see others, he cannot reflect on himself, and it can be said that his understanding of himself is only based on some kind of delusion.
