Recently, according to foreign media IGN, Nicholas Cage joined Universal Pictures' monster new film "Renfield", playing the vampire Dracula. It had previously been officially determined that Nicholas Holt would play the main character Redfield.
In Bram Stoker's original novel Dracula, Redfield is a prisoner in a mental hospital who is thought to be delusional, but is actually Dracula's servant. The image has appeared in several films, including Coppola's 1992 episode Four Hundred Years of Vampire Zombies, in which Tom Waits starred as Redfield.
Redfield is set in the modern era and is directed by Chris McKay, with Ryan Ridley as the writer. This is the second time Cage and Holt have partnered, and the two have previously collaborated on "Weather Forecaster".
