Recently, at the opening of the Los Angeles Auto Show, Nissan released a new generation of Pathfinder, a medium-sized SUV with a 3.5L V6+9AT power combination, and the overall positioning is lower than ARMADA and Tule. If Dongfeng Nissan can introduce a new generation of Nissan Pathfinder to the domestic market, it is bound to trigger a chain reaction in a number of competing models such as Volkswagen Tuon, Buick Encore Banner, Kelly Lac XT6 and so on. For consumers, there is more of an opportunity for choice.
In terms of appearance, the new car adopts the latest family design language, the oversized "V-Motion" front face highlights the tough and domineering, and the thick U-shaped chrome decorative grille has a good texture. The more straight chrome trim strips on the edges of the grille are matched with a similar split light cluster shape, and the bottom plate surrounded by silver chrome decoration under combination looks very rugged and stylish.
On the side of the body, the straight stretch of the line, the two-color body color matching and the use of the suspended roof keep up with the trend. The side profile is tapered high and tight with a suspension effect, and the brow is thickly coated and available with 18/19/20 inch wheels.
In terms of size, the new car is positioned as a medium and large SUV, with a length, width and height of 5004/1979/1778mm, and a wheelbase of 2901mm.
In terms of the rear, the shape of the new car is full and round, and it adopts a lateral and straight taillight group design, and the overall size is very large. Underneath, the Pathfinder logo is accented, and the large silver lower skid plate below makes the new car look very wild.
In terms of interior, the new car adopts a simple design, the dashboard is a 12.3-inch full LCD display, providing rich vehicle information, and also equipped with a 10.8-inch HUD head-up display function. The size of the 9-inch suspension screen is a little small for a medium-sized SUV, which is a bit out of place in the current era of large screens.
As a medium to large SUV, the new Pathfinder is available in a seven-seater version with a 2+2+3 interior seat layout. The overall design style of the new car's interior is similar to that of the domestic new generation of X-Trail, but due to the higher positioning of the car, more leather wrapping and stitching are integrated into the local details.
In terms of configuration, the new car will support in-vehicle interconnection such as Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, WiFi hotspots, Nissan Safety Shield 360 kit (automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, lane departure warning, automatic high beams, etc.), panoramic sunroof, electronic handbrake, Autohold automatic parking, etc. At the same time, in terms of seat layout, as a 7-seat medium and large SUV model, its second row of seats is equipped with functions such as folding, front and rear sliding.
In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a 3.5L V6 engine, the maximum power of 288Ps, the maximum torque of 351N·m, matched with the 9AT gearbox, and provides 7 different driving modes such as sports, sand, and standard, so as to meet the driving needs of various road conditions.
