Everyone believes that the current development of traditional Chinese medicine has ushered in important opportunities, but it still faces prominent problems such as insufficient motivation for scientific research and innovation, obvious bottlenecks in talent, and insufficient excavation of cultural connotations. The committee members suggested that it is necessary to do a good job in sorting out, protecting, and excavating ancient Chinese medicine books, strengthen the collection and rescue of folk prescriptions, secret recipes, and techniques, establish a digital resource database for ancient Chinese medicine books, and solve the problems of unclear base, weak protection, and insufficient utilization of traditional Chinese medicine resources. It is necessary to increase investment in scientific research, build an innovation platform, promote the development of traditional Chinese medicine and the combination of modern science and technology, pay attention to the use of modern science to interpret the principles of traditional Chinese medicine, and make the efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine clear and the mechanism clear. Efforts should be made to improve the quality of Chinese herbal medicines, guide enterprises to strengthen the purification and rejuvenation of Chinese herbal medicines and the breeding of new varieties, and improve the standardization level of planting and circulation through measures such as improving standards, whole process traceability, and construction of integrity system, and promote the healthy development of the Chinese herbal medicine industry. It is necessary to establish a drug review and approval mechanism that conforms to the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine, optimize the approval process for traditional Chinese medicine preparations that originate from ancient classic recipes and are widely used and have accurate efficacy, and encourage the research and development and application of traditional Chinese medicine. It is necessary to improve the pricing mechanism of traditional Chinese medicine services, appropriately increase the reimbursement ratio of traditional Chinese medicine services, and support acupuncture, orthopedics, and special Traditional Chinese medicine preparations to be included in the scope of medical insurance reimbursement. It is necessary to attach importance to the construction of the contingent of talents in traditional Chinese medicine, formulate a talent training plan that is in line with reality, adhere to and develop the education of traditional Chinese medicine teachers, strengthen the cultivation of special talents such as masters of traditional Chinese medicine, chinese medicine preparation and preparation teachers, and improve the talent evaluation and patent incentive mechanism. It is necessary to accelerate the pace of chinese medicine going out, expand relevant cooperation with countries along the "Belt and Road", build standards for diagnosis and treatment of traditional Chinese medicine that meet international norms, and actively participate in the formulation of international rules related to traditional medicine.
