This kind of torn pain probably has been attacking director Wu Tianming. This man, who was born in the land of the Three Qins, should have grown up with the sound of screaming. He had seen the respect of the villagers for the smith, and he had also seen the loneliness of the smith later. Complicated feelings eventually condensed into this posthumous work "Birds and Phoenix".

Third Master Jiao had been dealing with Jiao Na all his life. There is a passage in the film where Third Master Jiao is drunk and blows up. His whole being radiated a light of joy, and he became one with the owl, completely devoid of anything.
There is also a section where Third Master Jiao supports the sick body to help You Tianming perform and play "Hundred Birds and Phoenix". Yin's red blood flowed from the tube. The illness has reached this point, but the scream is not half discounted, still wonderful.
You Tianming was reluctant to blow at first, but then slowly fell in love with It. Under the words and deeds of Third Master Jiao, he learned not only the skill of blowing, but also the respect for this art and the determination to pass on the art. At the end of the film, You Tianming blows "Hundred Birds and Phoenix" in front of The Grave of Third Master Jiao.
