On the morning of November 19, the provincial Red Cross first aid training base construction symposium was held in Fei County. Li Quantai, secretary of the provincial Red Cross Society's party group and executive vice president; Si Chunfeng, director of the Provincial Red Cross Disaster Preparedness and Rescue Center; Zhao Aihua, deputy head of the municipal higher education development work leadership group and president of the municipal Red Cross Society; Lian Feng, deputy secretary general of the municipal party committee; Sun Wenting, member of the party group and vice president of the municipal Red Cross Society; and Xu Lifeng, deputy secretary of the Fei County PARTY committee and county governor, attended the forum.
After the official opening of the three provincial-level first-aid training bases in Fei County, Yinan and Junan, the leaders attending the meeting visited the provincial Red Cross first-aid training bases in Fei County. At the symposium, the three counties and districts exchanged views on the construction of emergency care training bases.
Li Quantai made a concluding speech. He pointed out that the completion and use of the three provincial first aid training bases has provided a guarantee for carrying out mass emergency rescue training and experience activities, popularizing self-help and mutual rescue knowledge and escape and risk avoidance skills, and laying a solid foundation for further improving the self-help and mutual rescue capabilities of the masses. He stressed that in accordance with the requirements of the "Guiding Opinions of the Red Cross Society of China on Strengthening the Construction of the Red Cross First Aid Training Base", it is necessary to guide the bases to strengthen standardized management, do a good job in team building, establish and improve the training quality control and evaluation system, actively explore new training and evaluation mechanisms, effectively play the substantive role of the base in serving the people, promote the sustained, healthy and high-quality development of the entire first aid training work through base construction radiation, and strive to make positive contributions to improving the level of life safety education in the city.
The heads of the relevant departments and offices of the Municipal Red Cross Society, the responsible persons of the Red Cross Societies of Fei County, Yinan and Junan and the emergency care training bases attended the forum.
