Subsequently, customs officials conducted an opening inspection and found 2 plastic containers, each containing 1 live beetle and filled with organic media.

After species identification, they all belong to the Chinese flat spade nails. According to the regulations, the Suzhou Customs Office in the Post Office has handed over the seized beetles to the relevant departments for further processing.

The relevant person in charge of customs said that according to the relevant regulations, live animals (except dogs and cats), including all mammals, birds, fish, crustaceans, amphibians, reptiles, insects and other invertebrates, animal genetic material, are prohibited to carry, send into the country.
