As the hometown of red peppers, Anjihai Town has a long reputation, which is located in the central and western parts of the economic development belt on the northern slope of the Tianshan Mountains in Xinjiang, with superior soil conditions, sufficient sunlight, rich heat, long frost-free period, and large temperature difference between day and night, which is very suitable for growing peppers.

Since the 1970s, Anjihai Town has begun to grow peppers, planting an area of about 50,000 mu, there are more than 20 varieties, the annual output of fresh peppers is more than 120,000 tons, the planting area accounts for one-tenth of the whole Of Xinjiang, peppers sell well throughout the country, and half of the income of local farmers comes from peppers.

With plenty of sunshine and a suitable climate, xinjiang produces excellent quality peppers, which are indispensable elements in making food, and some of them can be used to refine pigments and make lipstick!
