From November 16 to 18, Jia Gaofei, deputy secretary of the CPPCC party group, vice chairman, and first-level inspector of the Xiangxi Prefecture CPPCC Committee, led relevant personnel of the Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee of the CppcC Prefecture, the Population, Resources and Environment Committee, the Prefecture Housing and Construction Bureau (Prefecture Civil Air Defense Office), and some cppcc members of the Prefecture CPPCC to Longshan, Baojing, and Guzhang counties and cities to conduct research on the topic of "Protection and Utilization of Traditional Villages in Xiangxi Prefecture" and to solicit the Baojing and Guzhang County CPPCC Committees to report on the "Work Report of the Twelfth Standing Committee of the Prefecture CPPCC." (Draft for Solicitation of Comments) comments and suggestions.
The investigation and investigation team successively inspected the traditional villages of Basha Village, Street Village, Liuhe Village, and Wanlong Village in Longshan County, Longmudong Village, Shawan Village, and Ramji Village in Baojing County, and Zhongzhai Village and Caojia Village in Guzhang County.
Jia Gaofei fully affirmed the achievements of the three counties in carrying out the protection and utilization of traditional villages, and for the next step of work, he suggested that, first, we should persist in attaching great importance to it, increase the implementation of the regulations on the protection of traditional villages, improve planning, and effectively integrate with rural revitalization work. The second is to persist in increasing publicity, make full use of radio, television, newspapers, WeChat, Weibo and other news media and platforms to increase publicity on the protection knowledge of traditional villages, and strive to promote mutual promotion between protection and utilization. The third is to adhere to diversified input, adopt a combination of government support and social participation, raise funds from all walks of life, and encourage enterprises and non-governmental organizations to jointly participate in the protection and utilization of work to form a joint force.
