A few days ago, Li Qiang, secretary of the Shanghai Municipal CPC Committee, and Zhang Jun, secretary of the party leading group and chief procurator of the Supreme People's Procuratorate, respectively put forward requirements for Shanghai procuratorial organs to further do a good job in juvenile procuratorial work in the new era.

Li Qiang pointed out that on the new journey, the city's procuratorial organs should take Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era as the guide, deeply study and implement Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law and the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, conscientiously practice the important concept of "people's cities built by the people, people's cities for the people", continue to carry forward the spirit of "protecting the future with profession and winning the future with innovation", vigorously promote closer coordination of the "six major protection" systems of family, school, society, network, government and judiciary, and continue to build a system with the characteristics of the times and in line with judicial laws 3. Zhang Jun pointed out that as a state legal supervision organ, procuratorial organs perform their duties throughout the entire process of judicial protection of minors and shoulder important missions in the overall pattern of juvenile protection. Shanghai procuratorial organs should deeply study and implement the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the Nineteenth Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, study and implement Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law and the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's "July 1st" important speech, continue the red gene, dare to be the first, dare to explore, reform and innovate, earnestly assume the heavier political, rule of law, and procuratorial responsibilities entrusted by the Law on the Protection of Minors and the Law on the Prevention of Juvenile Delinquency, and help the judiciary to integrate and coordinate with the "six major protections" of the family, school, society, the network, and the government with better procuratorial performance. The symposium on the 35th anniversary of the founding of juvenile procuratorial work in Shanghai Municipal Procuratorial Organs was held yesterday.
