This "zoo" has more than 30 kinds of animals such as tigers, giraffes, eagles, frogs, etc., all of which are pruned from ebony trees dug up from the mountains, and each "animal" takes 5 years from cultivation to pruning.

The owner of this "zoo", named Wu Juyun, is 55 years old this year, and lives alone in the middle of the beautiful Peak of The Mountain, and usually cuts bamboo for a living. Wu Qiyun liked to paint when he was a student, but was forced to make a living and dropped out of school. When a man returned home in middle age to marry and have children, his wife ran away from home for some reason, and for twenty years, he raised a pair of children in this ravine alone to grow up.
One day eight years ago, when he was cutting bamboo, he found that the shape of a ebony tree was very special, and he suddenly thought, can this dig back, can it be cut into a "cow"? On a whim, he carried this treasure home, cutting and cutting every day. A villager saw him laughing and said, "Do something that doesn't cost a dime!" This sentence made Wu Qianyun anxious, and he clenched his fists and secretly resolved that he would definitely do this thing!

When he encountered a huge plant, he asked his son to go up the mountain together to carry it. Wu Juyun said that a tree should be trimmed into an imaginary shape, four times a year in large-scale pruning, and it takes a lot of time to do detailed pruning every day. The son often complained to him, "The family still lives in an adobe house, you cut this every day, isn't it full of food and support?" But the more others did not understand, the less Wu Qiyun conceded defeat, and he had previously given up his dream of painting because of fate, but this time he did not want to admit his fate.

Reporter: Have you ever learned a related craft before?
Wu Qiyun: No, I used to work on the construction site to move bricks, this is completely self-taught. I liked to draw when I was a student, and now there are still many paintings and wood carvings at home, which may be the reason, I get started to get started with this faster.

Wu Juyun: My family is a poor family, at present, my daughter is working outside the home, and my son is going to Hengyang City to study high school this year. Before, in order to take care of them, I could only stay at home to cut bamboo and do some temporary work nearby to earn money, life was very hard, fortunately, my body was strong, and I carried it.

Wu Juyun: I am a personality, others say I can't get it, I want to do it. In addition, I like to tinker with these since I was a child, and after a long time, things have been made, more and more people understand, and I also have a sense of accomplishment in my heart.

Wu Orange Cloud: I am here under the Peak of The Ridge, the scenery is beautiful, but the place is remote, the traffic is inconvenient, Hengyang City to drive over to 1 and a half hours, you can first navigate to the Jiulong Gorge rafting, and then navigate to Miaoxi Village. Here the mountain road is steep, the mobile phone signal is poor, everyone should pay more attention.

Wu Orange Yun: I hope that our village will develop better and better, hope that more people will come to Visit The Peak, and hope that more people will see my works.
