It is cultivated in China in Guangdong, Hainan, Fujian, Yunnan and Taiwan, and sometimes grows in the valley jungles at an altitude of 180-1900 meters. Passion fruit grafting method
1, rootstock: when preparing to graft passion fruit, it is necessary to select a tree with disease resistance, healthy and 2-3cm thick as the rootstock.
2. Scion: It is necessary to select the branches planted in the same year, and have many buds, good leaf color, and no sick leaves as scion. Cut off the upper and bottom leaves of the branch, leaving only the middle part of the leaf. This slows down the loss of moisture from the branches. Place the scion in clean water for 2 days.
3, scion treatment: after the scion every 5cm cut a section, each segment must have a small bud, and each small bud from the upper part of 1 cm. The lower part of each segment is 4 cm from the small buds, and the lower branches are cut down.
4, grafting: before the passion fruit grafting, you need to pour some water on the rootstock, and then cut the rootstock at an angle to a small opening with a slope, and connect the cut scion with this small opening. Once completed, wrap it in an impermeable film, which makes the likelihood of success greater.

Passion fruit is usually planted in February and March in the spring, when it is planted, as long as it is properly maintained, it will flower almost in May and June. The earliest flowers bloom in May and June, followed by July and August in summer, and September in autumn, and usually bear fruit after the flowering period.
