The two sides alternated points after that, and the Bulls led 85-81 after three quarters.

The Bulls led by eight points after consecutive free throws in the fourth quarter. Snell hit a three-pointer and then CJ scored consecutive points, after which Lillard and CJ hit three-pointers in succession, and the Blazers countered by 2 points! LaVine responded with three points, while the Blazers scored consecutive layups and Lillard hit a three-pointer after Newkich dunked, giving the Blazers a six-point lead.

Ball scored consecutive points in response, LaVine scored five straight points, and the Bulls responded with a wave of 9-2 to surpass by one point in the last minute. Lillard regained the lead with free throws, after which Lavin and DeRozan both hit the ball and fouled in the last 12 seconds. Nance hit two free throws and scored a three-point difference. After the Bulls stopped, Lavin continued to play iron with three points! Little took off the rebound and hit two free throws to end the suspense.

LaVine had 30 points and 6 rebounds, Caruso 12 points, 10 rebounds, 9 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks, DeRozan had 22 points, 5 assists, 2 blocks and 5 turnovers, and Ball had 17 points. The Blazers side lillard had 22 points, 10 assists and four turnovers on 6-of-18 shooting, Newquay 18 points and 12 rebounds, Powell 18 points, Covington 10 points, McCollum 4-of-14 and 9 points, Nance 16 points, 9 rebounds and 3 steals.
