Russia's recent large-scale military moves along ukraine's borders have raised concerns among the leaders of NATO, the European Union and European powers.
The U.S. government recently warned European allies of the possibility of Russian military action against Ukraine, and U.S. intelligence confirmed that Russia continues to masse large numbers of troops along the Russian-Ukrainian border.
Ukraine's Defense Ministry also revealed that about 90,000 Russian soldiers are currently stationed along the border and in the rebel-controlled eastern part of Ukraine. French Foreign Minister Le Dreyon and German Foreign Minister Maas met with Ukraine's foreign minister in Brussels on Monday and reaffirmed their support for Ukraine's independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity.
EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Borrell also said the EU was extremely concerned about Russia's massive military movements near the Ukrainian border. The United States has confirmed that 80 tons of weapons and ammunition aided by the United States have arrived in Ukraine.
Ukrainian Defense Minister Reznikov also revealed that it will cooperate with the United States and Turkey as soon as possible to deploy the "Neptune" anti-ship missile system on the southern coastline and strengthen the overall defense capabilities of the military port and the navy.
