Ten years ago, Professor Zhong Ruqian recommended "Undertaking Painting Collection" to me. I was excited and studied it carefully. Judging from the main experience of the responsibility, due to his solid birth, his early painting style of calligraphy and painting is elegant, in accordance with the self-cultivation and elegance of chinese literati, and is decent. However, after becoming a monk, after sending up the mountains and forests, the painting style turned to the rate of desolation, looking at the mountains like mountains, looking at the mountains and not the mountains, painting orchids upside down, and strange stones like the wind. If the painting style of the Eight Greats is a delicate and elegant minimalist method, revealing a reserved and cold-eyed world, then the painting style of responsibility is a desolate and extensive minimalist ink, showing a stubborn and sad society. The two are the same, but they both reflect the patriotic feelings and sense of grief of the scholars. The person in charge has a poem: "Aiming at the abundant grass and the long forest, I will sink into the depths of the years." "This kind of chinese farming culture has tempered the spirit of literati and doctors, and the feeling of home and country that cannot be killed and disgraced is the foundation and moral norm that supports the survival of the nation. There is no shortage of these people in the history of traditional Chinese culture, but our descendants disdain it, and may have long forgotten it!
Reading the responsibility also reminds me of the famous monk Hongyi in modern times, who has attained great enlightenment and compassion. Resolutely lay down wealth, affection, family, and fresh clothes and angry horses, cut their hair and become monks, and eventually perish. What is left to the world is "outside the long pavilion, beside the ancient road, the grass is blue in the sky." The evening wind blows the willow flute, the sunset mountain outside the mountain..." The lonely music and the long pavilion of the deep mountain ancient temple evening bell.
The art of calligraphy is also called a must, the former chased Huai Su rough, after inheriting the style of Dong Qichang, a time unparalleled in the world, here is not idle talk. A few vernacular sentences are also used to express admiration for the monk:
A pot of tea and a pillar of incense,
A bend of cold moon full of frost.
Broken pen and ink to write the remaining mountains,
There is a heavenly way to collect the rays.
