The NBA officially announced the Best Player of the East and West last week, with the Nets' Kevin Durant and warriors' Stephen Curry being elected separately.

Durant averaged 32.3 points and 7.8 rebounds per game last week and shot 62.9 percent from the field, leading the Nets to a 3-1 record. Curry also led the Warriors to a 3-1 loss last week, averaging 34.8 points, 5.5 rebounds and 7.8 assists per game.

Other nominees include Lamelo Ball of the Hornets, Malcolm Brogdon and Miles Turner of the Pacers, DeMar DeRozan and Zach Lavin of the Bulls, Dallius Garland and Evan Mobley of the Cavaliers, Monterez Harrell of the Wizards, Anthony Davis of the Lakers, Luka Doncic of the Lone Rangers, Lugantz Dort of the Thunder, Paul George of the Clippers, Nikolai Jokic of the Nuggets, and Kres Paul of the Suns.
