The Red Devils have not had a good time this season, losing back-to-back league games at Old Trafford to direct rivals Liverpool and Manchester City in the title race.
The bitterness of defeat is painful for any member of Manchester United, and the recent manchester United players are suffering from the double pain of league and international world series defeats: Portugal's C Ronaldo, B-Fernandez and Diogo Dalot and Sweden's Victor Lindelof.

A five-time Ballon d'Or winner, the 36-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo has relied on his super professionalism and still maintains the status of Europe's top striker. The Portuguese superstar has scored nine goals in 12 of United's games this season, but United's results have disappointed many fans, and the team's manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is also facing unprecedented pressure.
While United have yet to lose hope of winning the title this season, their Premier League dream seems to have been shattered after just 11 league rounds.
Fortunately, the last 2 weeks of international match days have given Ole Gunnar Solskjaer some respite. However, for players such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Lindelof, their pain has not eased at all, because their national team has lost in the World Preliminary Round.
In the final group stage of The World Preliminary Round of Eurogroup A, Portugal had the opportunity to qualify directly to the final round of the World Cup in Qatar, and it only took them a minute to achieve this wish. Portugal's rivals, however, shattered their dreams.
Portugal had a fantastic start to the match, with Renato Sanchez scoring a goal just two minutes after the start of the match to help Portugal lead Serbia 1-0.
Half an hour later, Serbia's Tadić scored a goal to equalize the two teams. In the final minute before the finale, Serbian striker Aleksandr Mitrovic delivered a fatal blow, his goal helped Serbia kill their opponents, and also helped the team qualify for the World Cup directly.
As one of Portugal's most legendary players, C Robben had the opportunity to appear directly for the 5th time in the World Cup, but Serbia disrupted Cristiano Ronaldo's plans. Fortunately, Portugal still have a chance, and they can still attack the World Cup through the World Cup play-offs.
Cristiano Ronaldo's teammate, Sweden captain Lindelof, also suffered the same situation, in the final group match against Spain. The backline, led by Lindelof, failed to defend Alvaro Morata at the last minute. The Spanish striker scored a crucial goal in the 86th minute of the match to help the team beat Sweden 1-0.
Sweden could have been given a chance to qualify directly to the World Cup finals, but now they can only qualify for the World Cup in Qatar through the play-offs like Portugal.
Hopefully, the defeat in the World Cup will not affect the mood and state of these United players. Because, this weekend, the Premier League will be on fire again, and if Manchester United can't win, then manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer may really be out of school...
