Sima Yan claimed to be empress dowager, placed the "imperial relatives and state relatives" of the Wei state, arranged the relatives of the Jin dynasty royal family, and also pulled out a new list of power cores. With the full cooperation of all, the state apparatus has slowly restarted, and major interest groups have regained their standing. A new era has begun.
Although the "hardware" standard has been formulated, there are still many "software" contents that need to be re-established by Sima Yan. In the second year of Sima Yan's reign as emperor, it was almost around this matter.
In the first month of the second year of the Tai Dynasty, in order to brush up his prestige, Sima Yan took the initiative to send officials to visit the four sides with a festival, and the purpose of this trip was mainly to observe and understand the customs of various places. Here's a detail, and officials also have to spy on whether there are any sacrifices to unofficially requested people or things in various places. This is very easy to understand, for example, Cao Cao struck a heavy blow at the "obscene temple" during the Jinan period, and after Cao Rui ascended to the throne, he stipulated the list of sacrifices that can be sacrificed in the whole country and announced to the world. And Liu Chan's establishment of a temple for Zhuge Liang can also be understood as the legalization of the sacrifice of Zhuge Liang. Going back to the previous article, if officials in the Jin Dynasty found that someone had sacrificed the contents of the unofficial list, they must be stopped.
Sima Yan was called emperor, and there were naturally many people who patted his ass. Or in the first month, some officials suggested that Sima Yan establish the "Seven Temples", what is the "Seven Temples"? Simply put, in order to maintain the Confucian Dharma, Tianzi wanted to build a temple dedicated to the ancestors of the seven generations. Among them, the Taimiao Temple is in the center, and the three Zhao And three Mu are on the left and right, adding up to the Seven Temples. After Sima Yan received the recital, Ying Le's heart blossomed. But on the surface, Sima Yan refused on the pretext that "this will aggravate the people's hard labor." In the same month, Sima Yan also abolished some other formal objects and rituals. He posthumously honored Sima Shi's wife Yang Huiyu as Empress Jing, and called her "Hongxun Palace". Sima Yan also established empress Yang, established the interest chain of the Sima family and the Hongnong Yang family, and pointed out the direction for the investment of other interest groups.
In February, in response to the policy of confining the Han clans during the Wei Dynasty, Sima Yan demanded that the Han clans be lifted. As for restricting the princes and princes, Sima Yan swept back Emperor Wu of Han's "Tui En Order" and clarified the standards for the implementation of the Tuien Order. For example, the second son of a county marquis should be given the title of Marquis of Ting, the second son of a township marquis should be given the title of Marquis of Guannei, and the second son of a Marquis of Tinghou should be given the title of Marquis of Guanzhong. After the second son was divided, he needed to divide one-tenth of the family's territory as his fief.
In the same month, Sima Yan performed ritual sacrifices to Sima Yi and Sima Zhao. A few days later, Sima Yan issued a clear directive on the situation of the chancellor's consultation, pointing directly to the standards of practice for officials such as Shizhong and Changshi. Sima Yan ordered the ministers to maintain the act of defamation, and asked the servants and the regular servants, especially to find some people who were upright and could correct the monarch and save the people from water and fire.
In March, Eastern Wu emissaries came to Luoyang in the name of Sima Zhao's mourning, and Eastern Wu emissaries were Zhang Yu of the Wu Commandery Zhang Clan and Ding Zhong, the general of Wuguan Zhonglang. After Sima Yan learned of this, xiazhao first quoted the scriptures, and then informed Sun Hao of his establishment as emperor, suggesting that Eastern Wu had set his position right, mentioning that the two sides should be a relationship between kings and subjects.
In May, in order to highlight his preferential treatment of Wei Room again. Sima Yan issued an edict asking cao huan to be too modest and cautious, and to personally present himself to me for anything that was not worth advocating. If Cao Wan has something, as long as it is not a big deal, he only needs to hand over the content to the relevant departments.
In July, Sima Yan ordered the establishment of the Taimiao Temple. According to records, the Temple was made of wood from Jingshan, and the stone was taken from Mount Hua. There are a total of twelve bronze pillars in the temple, all of which are painted with gold and luxurious decorations on the outside of the pillars, and decorated with pearls.
In August, the relevant departments found that Sima Yan was still wearing dark clothes and wearing a plain crown because of Sima Zhao's death, and his diet was also very frugal, and he formally made suggestions to Sima Yan. It turned out that shortly after Sima Zhao's death, Sima Yan asked himself to wear dark-colored clothes, wear a plain crown on his head, and lower his food standards to express his mourning after removing his mourning clothes. After the relevant departments suggested recovery, Sima Yan still refused. After the death of Wang Yuanji in the future, Sima Yan also set strict demands on himself, and did not recover until the funeral was completely completed.
In September, Emperor Fu Tao and Fu Xuan led the officials to write to Sima Yan, and there was a heated discussion on certain issues. When the relevant departments saw that the official's move was inappropriate, they hoped to forcibly stop the official's behavior. Sima Yan pointed out that it was the most difficult thing for a courtier to write to Tianzi, and they were afraid that Tianzi would not accept it, so they were particularly upright. This is the reason why loyal soldiers have been so ambitious since ancient times. Most of the things they discussed were very profound and wanted the Lord to be gracious. Sima Yan ordered that the suggestions made by the counselors be carefully reviewed, and that the officials should not be prevented from gathering in the crowd to write the letter.
In the same month, based on the facts of the Jin Dynasty and the story of Shun's Acceptance of Zen Yao, the relevant departments suggested that the Costume of the Jin Dynasty Zhengshuo should fully inherit the system of the Wei Period. Sima Yan agreed.
In October, Sima Yan issued an edict regulating environmental problems near the mausoleum, requiring that the idle people near the royal mausoleum be cleaned up, and all disturbing projects and activities should be stopped.
In November, the Uighurs came to pay tribute, which was also the first official exchange between the Jin Dynasty and Japan. In the same month, Sima Yan deposed the army in the Principality of Shanyang and abolished the prohibition on the Duke of Shanyang. A few days later, Sima Yan posthumously honored Sima Shi's former wife Xiahou Hui as Empress Jinghuai.
In December, the system of agricultural officials established by Cao Wei was abolished, and the relevant officials went to work in the corresponding counties.
This year, the localities were still prosperous, and Sima Yan's Jin state seemed to be developing vigorously.
