Li Chuanlun, 71 years old, joined the army when he was young, and joined the party under the training of the army. With the strong help of the county, town and village, Li Chuanlun contracted 120 acres of land in the village, invested more than 2 million yuan, built the largest yellow ginger planting greenhouse in Surabaya County, and began his "yellow ginger dream".
At the beginning of this year, Li Chuanlun's family farm, through greenhouse seedling planting, drip irrigation, reasonable fertilization, regular weeding and other scientific management, coupled with this year's abundant rainfall, yellow ginger growth is good, and has achieved a bumper harvest, each tree can produce a minimum of 3 pounds of yellow ginger, the largest harvest of more than 10 pounds of yellow ginger per tree, the yield per mu reached more than 20,000 pounds, the entire family farm of more than 120 acres of high-quality yellow ginger more than 2 million pounds, becoming the county's largest yellow ginger production base. The project can also drive local farmers to get rich, the farm can employ nearly 100 people a day when busy, and the people in Dawangzhuang Village and nearby villages can work and earn money without going out, which is welcomed by farmers.
In order to facilitate the storage of yellow ginger, Li Chuanlun invested more than 1 million yuan to build a modern yellow ginger storage underground warehouse that can store 2 million kilograms of yellow ginger in his hometown Of Liquan Village, ensuring a one-stop modern agricultural production mode of production, storage, processing and sales of yellow ginger. According to Lao Li, his turmeric planting base and storage underground warehouse have now played a demonstration and driving role, and often yellow ginger growers come to investigate and learn, and he selflessly teaches the ginger planting and storage technology to his father and fellow villagers. At present, he is working on the construction of a deep processing project for yellow ginger, and finally realizes the production, storage and sales of yellow ginger, so that Surabaya yellow ginger will go to the whole country and export abroad, making it a large industry of xingnong, rich people and strong counties.
