The Xu Zhaolai House on the west side is built by xu Zhaolai, a local person, with a width of 5 rooms, a total of 10 rooms up and down, and a construction area of 561 square meters. This is a well-preserved Chinese-style building from the Republic of China period in the area, and western architectural elements such as colored carved glass and arched windows are partially integrated.
10 rooms, divided into bedrooms, kitchens, living rooms and other spaces, through the physical objects, pictures, texts, multimedia and other forms to create an immersive experience scene, showing 42 intangible cultural heritage projects in Jinshan District, including Jinshan peasant painting art, Shanghai rice wine traditional brewing techniques, Fengjing Ding hoof making technology, Xiaobailong customs, Shanghai Tianshan song, Tinglin waist drum, native cloth textile technology, Zhujing flower lantern festival, Shanghai rice cake, Jinshan silk blanket weaving technology, Jinshanzui fishing village living customs, Jinshanyan cooking skills, Special intangible cultural heritage items such as soil cloth dyeing and weaving techniques.
The Gan's House on the east side is the most characteristic modern Chinese and Western architecture in the district, with a courtyard layout and a construction area of 574 square meters. The upper and lower levels of the façade have Corinthian columns and arches in the middle and lower levels, and triangular fancy friezes above the windows. Non-genetic inheritance training activities will be carried out from time to time here, so as to realize the protection and living inheritance of intangible cultural heritage.
