The book I read today is "Roger's Doubt", which is another masterpiece of Agatha, and it is also a more representative case that Poirot solved, the full text is written in the first person by the doctor Shepard, based on the manuscript recorded in the process of assisting Poirot in handling the case, and finally through his care and wit to solve the case. The article begins when the doctor, Shepard, discovers that the widow, Mrs. Ficarce, has died in her home, and that Roger, whom he befriended her, was killed the next day. Detective Poirot happens to live in this town after retiring, and is entrusted by Roger's niece Flora to solve the case. Through conversations and nuanced observations with everyone in Roger's estate, it is finally found that the murderer is the doctor Shepard. To be honest, when I first read this article, I have various speculations about who the murderer is, as the storyline deepens, the case becomes clearer, I still have not guessed who the murderer is, until the final truth of the case of this article is revealed, I suddenly realized, indeed the author is taking you step by step to uncover the truth, when you know that the doctor is the murderer, although a little unexpected but also reasonable. The author uses delicate writing techniques to profoundly express everyone from behavior to language image. The storyline is vivid and interesting, and people can't bear to release the volume.
