Zhang Jun talked about it - exam-oriented education imprisoned teachers and students

author:Lan Lan Niu

Hello everyone, I am Teacher Zhang Jun, today to talk about a topic: nowadays, our education is imprisoned in a fixed mode, many teachers take the exam as the teaching purpose, think that the exam content is the teaching content, the exam question type is the key mastery of the teaching question type, such education not only imprisons the teacher's teaching, but also imprisons the student's thinking. What is tested in the test paper, the teacher will teach, the student will learn, the teacher and the student will make a big fuss about the type of exam question, resulting in the final result, the teacher will solve the question type, the question type will change slightly, and I don't know where to start. In this way, students' thinking has been greatly constrained, not to mention any innovative thinking, such teaching and learning have become quick and profitable, and such test-taking education has imprisoned teachers and students.

Looking back on it now, how disgusting it was to teach Chinese for so many years! Taking the content of the exam as the teaching purpose, urging students to practice the unpredictable types of exam questions, often the final result is that their thinking has become a fixed thinking, bound by various rules and regulations, how romantic is such language teaching, how poetic, not to mention how much happiness can be brought to students? Such language teaching can only cultivate test takers, rigid nerds and mediocre talents.

Reflecting on the previous language teaching, I feel that it is now necessary to jump out of the strange circle of exam-oriented education and quick success, seriously consider the future development of students, "teaching is not to teach", and strive to change all this. Since a person's language skills (both oral and written) are not "taught" or "spoken" by the teacher, but "learned" by the students themselves ("read", "said", "written"). Then, I think that in the usual teaching, we should do the following three things in a down-to-earth manner:

First, let students learn to think independently

It is the most important duty of language teachers to let students learn to think independently. For the wisdom of the individual is embodied in the originality of thought. Only by making students' divergent thinking and critical thinking develop by leaps and bounds can we cultivate talents with independent opinions and innovative spirit.

Second, let students develop a good habit of loving reading

Making students fall in love with reading is the greatest merit of a language teacher, because reading is a way of self-learning and self-education. Reading a lot of extensive reading can greatly enrich students' experience, broaden students' horizons, and enlighten students' wisdom.

Third, let students be good at expression and communication

Making students fall in love with expression and communication is the greatest love of Chinese teachers. For everyone desires to know and be understood by others. Effective expression and communication can enhance feelings, enrich wisdom, deepen thinking, and allow us to form positive and correct emotions, attitudes and values.

Teacher Zhang Jun - pay attention to the future of children.
