On November 8th, the 2020 Dubai World Expo China Pavilion Shanxi Zhou opened in taiyuan main venue, the opening ceremony with the theme of "opportunity, innovation, cooperation", through the integration of online and offline ways, Vice Governor He Tiancai attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech, UAE Ambassador to China Ali Zahiri and others delivered a video speech.

Li Yan, full-time vice president of the Provincial Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, attended the opening ceremony and the energy revolution innovation cooperation (Dubai) cloud promotion meeting, and participated in the provincial leaders meeting with some foreign guests and relevant responsible persons of foreign enterprises before the opening ceremony. The Asian Department of the Provincial Foreign Affairs Office, the Protocol Office and other relevant personnel participated in the event.

The Shanxi Week of the China Pavilion at the Dubai World Expo aims to tell the story of Shanxi in promoting the comprehensive green transformation of economic and social development and "building a community with a shared future for mankind", promote in-depth exchanges and cooperation between Shanxi and the United Arab Emirates and other Middle Eastern countries and countries in the world, and serve our province to promote high-quality development in an all-round way.
