The exhibition is sponsored by the Jiangsu Calligraphers Association, the Propaganda Department of the Xuzhou Municipal Party Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Xuzhou Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and hosted by the Xuzhou Calligraphers Association and the Li Keyan Art Museum, and will last until November 15.

Jiangsu has a profound cultural heritage, and many calligraphy schools and calligraphy masters have appeared in the history of calligraphy, and the level of calligraphy creation has always ranked among the forefront of the country. As one of the first "Famous Cities of Chinese Calligraphy" in China, Xuzhou has always been well-known in the book world for its regional calligraphy style of Beixiong Nanxiu, especially in the creation of cursive calligraphy. The exhibition of cursive works in Jiangsu Province was held in Xuzhou, which added a cultural connotation to Xuzhou's "Famous Chinese Calligraphy City" business card, and wrote a strong and colorful stroke for the construction of "Calligraphy and Painting Xuzhou".

The exhibition has received great attention from the calligraphy community in Jiangsu Province, and since the launch of the call for papers in June this year, a total of 1568 works have been received. After the preliminary evaluation, re-evaluation and final evaluation by the expert judges, a total of 10 excellent works, 10 excellent nominated works, and 97 works in the exhibition were evaluated, and the overall quality of the works was high, the content was good, and the form was elegant, which fully reflected the highest level of cursive creation of Jiangsu calligraphy and highlighted the profound cultural heritage of Jiangsu calligraphy.
