On September 3, Xin Shichang, vice president of Tsinghua University in Hsinchu, and Cen Zhangzhi, deputy director of the Tsinghua University Council in Beijing, led a delegation of 26 teachers and students from Tsinghua University on both sides of the strait to visit Tai'an.

Wang Yunpeng, secretary of the Tai'an Municipal CPC Committee, cordially met with the exchange delegation in Tai'an on the afternoon of the 3rd. Secretary Wang Yunpeng welcomed the exchange delegation to Tai'an for an exchange visit and briefly introduced the economic and social development of Tai'an. He said: Tai'an has a superior transportation location, developed science and education culture, rich tourism resources, and a beautiful ecological environment. In recent years, the exchanges between Tai'an and all walks of life in Taiwan have been deepening and continuing to be warm, and Tai'an City will further expand exchanges and cooperation between Tai'an and Taiwan in various fields such as economy and trade, culture, education, and tourism.

Vice President Xin Shichang thanked Tai'an City for its warm reception and spoke highly of Tai'an's achievements in economic and social development. It is hoped that the two sides can further strengthen cooperation and seek common development.
