The plight of Emperor Hanming: foreign relatives interfering in politics, clan covetousness, meritorious arrogance (1) suppression of foreign relatives (2) attack on the clan (3) strictly under the emperor

Yin Feng, manic temperament, self-righteous is the brother-in-law and cousin of The Han Ming Emperor, and the princess wife who has always been "arrogant" is separated by three forks and five "pig plowing craftsmen beating teeth sacrifice quarrel (stir-frying) to get eggs to the sky". When the last quarrel between the two sides was completely armed, Yin Feng stabbed his wife to death. Emperor Ming of Han was furious and ignored Empress Yin's pleas and ordered Yin Feng to be executed. Yin Feng's parents (Emperor Ming's uncle and aunt) committed suicide in fear of their sins, and the fief was revoked. Emperor Ming of Han's uncle had already bowed down to the law, and he did not cut off the full door of the palace.

Liang Song, brother-in-law of emperor Ming of Han, was "pampered by Mobi" during the reign of Emperor Guangwu. Guangwu Collapsed, assisted by the will. "Because the official position he lived in was too little oil and water, he took bribes on a large scale and used his power for personal gain to write a letter of introduction to the bribe-giver to seek employment in the county. Because the movement was too loud, he was "found to be dismissed from office a year later." "This man did not want to repent, hated his brother-in-law for crossing the river and demolishing the bridge, full of resentment, complaining, and eventually developed to the point of writing anonymous letters slandering the imperial court." Emperor Hanming couldn't bear it any longer and "went to prison to die, and the country was removed." ”

The history books compare Emperor Hanming with his father Liu Xiu's kindness to the emperor's relatives and emperors, and characterize Emperor Hanming as "sexually observant", which means that Emperor Hanming treated his subjects with a narrow temperament, grabbed sesame seeds and threw watermelons, and focused on trivial matters to show that he was aware of what he was doing, such as killing two brothers-in-law of foreign relatives.

As everyone knows, Emperor Hanming's move is not only to prevent foreign relatives from interfering in politics to maintain the dignity of the royal family, but also to kill chickens and scare monkeys to send a clear signal to all the relatives of the emperor and the country and the heroes: the former emperor is dead, and I am the only one who respects!

Liu Zhuang was the son of Emperor Guangwu Liu Xiu and Empress Yin Lihua, and was brilliant and clever since childhood, "able to pass the Spring and Autumn Festival" at the age of ten, and was made crown prince at the age of fifteen. After the death of Emperor Guangwu, Liu Zhuang "took the throne as emperor and Chinese New Year's Eve." Empress Zun (Yin Lihua) is known as the Empress Dowager. ”

Emperor Cao of the Han Dynasty followed Xiao's rules, "Obey the Jianwu system, and no one dares to violate it." However, there were several obstacles that could not be overcome in front of the Han Ming Emperor: after the Guangwu Emperor established the Eastern Han Dynasty, he crowned more than 400 meritorious people as marquises in one go, either skillfully seizing the military power of the military generals to make them enjoy the rest of their lives in peace, or ordering the imperial family to marry the children of the heroes. Although the marriage policy relieved the worries of the heroes, it also laid the foundation for the dictatorship of foreign relatives and eunuchs in turn at the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty.

Liu Xiu started from the army to build a Han Dynasty, was willing to take the plunge, was highly respected, and became the core of leadership by his own strength. The Han Ming Emperor had no military merit and lacked credibility in the eyes of his relatives and heroes. Therefore, after Emperor Hanming ascended the throne, the clan was eager to move, the foreign relatives were blessed, and the heroes were empty-eyed.

In order to completely change the passive situation to consolidate imperial power, Emperor Hanming, with the courage of a brave man who broke his wrist, first took the foreign relatives to open the knife. He "drew the famous ministers of Jianwu and the generals of Yuntai (i.e., the twenty-eight generals of Yuntai)." After the younger brother Liu Cang looked at the picture, he asked his brother incomprehensibly, "Why don't you paint the portrait of General Fubo?" Emperor Hanming meaningfully "laughed without saying." It turned out that the daughter of The Fubo general Ma Yuan was the Empress. Emperor HanMing's exclusion of his father-in-law from the famous Yuntai Twenty-Eight Generals certainly meant to avoid suspicion, but he obviously used this to convey a clear signal: foreign relatives would be strictly restricted and constrained!

The founding father Dou Rong neglected to discipline his descendants, causing his descendants to be arrogant and arrogant and wantonly touch the bottom line of the law. Emperor Ming of Han first executed Dou Rong's nephew for deceiving the king, and repeatedly issued edicts rebuking Dou Rong's godson for being helpless. After Dou Rong's death, Emperor Ming of Han let go of his hands and feet and put his two sons and horses to death. This move dealt a heavy blow to the power of the Dou Rong family and played a role in killing chickens and monkeys for foreign relatives.

Emperor Ming of Han further stipulated: The House of The Queen Concubines is strictly forbidden to be a marquis or participate in politics! During his reign, his three brothers-in-law held official positions of no more than Nine Qing. The sister once interceded for her son, hoping that Emperor Hanming would reward him with a lang official, and Emperor Hanming "would not allow it, but gave ten million dollars." He explained to the courtiers: "Langguan is a very important position, and can be sent to the local area to hold an important position. If this man is immoral and talentless, will he not cause "the people to suffer!" The courtiers knew in their hearts that Emperor Hanming's move was purely to suppress the forces of foreign relatives.

Yan Zhang's talent was outstanding, his political achievements were remarkable, and the officials were ready to "relocate to heavy posts." Emperor Hanming, because his second sister was a concubine, yan zhang naturally "was a relative of the harem, but he did not use it, and became an infantry lieutenant." ”

Liu Jing, the king of Shanyang, was ambitious, and after Emperor Ming of Han ascended the throne, he wrote a letter to his nephew under the guise of Liu Qiang, the king of the Eastern Sea, and tried his best to persuade him to send troops into Beijing to seize the world.

Crown Prince Liu Qiang was the eldest son of Emperor Guangwu and his mother was Guo Shengtong. Later, due to the deposing of his birth mother, Liu Qiang resigned from the position of crown prince for 18 years and was made the King of the East Sea. After reading the letter, Liu Qiang was frightened and scattered, and escorted the messenger and letter to Beijing.

Emperor Hanming soon found out the truth, but because Liu Jing was a brother, he kept it secret and sent his brother to Henan Palace for residential surveillance. Liu Jing was not dead- The "Emperor of Hanming" heard of it and was the King of Jingguangling. Liu Jing still did not want to repent, but instead asked the person who met him, "I look most like the former emperor!" 'The first emperor won the world thirty times, and I am now thirty, but can I raise an army?' "The person who met him was frightened and hurried to report to the government." Jing was terrified and imprisoned. ”

Emperor Hanming showed great compassion, "Fu Jia En, do not examine extremes." Liu Jing was bent on death, "still not changing", causing the shaman to use the curse of Emperor Hanming to die early, and was "played by Yousi, please reprimand him." Liu Jing knew that evil was full of happiness and committed suicide.

Liu Ying, the King of Chu, was the half-brother of Emperor Ming of Han and was intimately related to the "Crown Prince" from an early age. After Emperor Hanming ascended the throne, Liu Ying "received several rewards", "traffic guests" in the fiefdom, made golden turtles and jade cranes, and carved words to think that Fu Rui intended to rebel. Some people accused Liu Ying of "fabricating books with Yuyang Wang Ping, Yan Zhong, and others, and there was a conspiracy." After the division verified that the report was true, "The Song Ying recruited treacherous people and made a plot ... Great rebellion, please blame it. The "Emperor Of Hanming" could not bear to be close to him, but abolished Ying. Liu Ying was exiled to Danyang and committed suicide. ”

Liu Yan, the king of Fuling, was "sexually extravagant and met with severe fierceness", and his ambitions were inflated with others to "invite adultery, make drawings, and make sacrifices and curses." After the East Window incident, "There is a si song please delay." Emperor Hanming felt that his sins were lighter than Liu Ying's, "Therefore, Tega'en, the King of Fuling, ate Erxian County." ”

Situ Yuyan received a secret report that Liu Ying, the king of Chu, was trying to rebel, believing that the king of Chu was the emperor's brother and that there was no possibility of rebellion. He wanted to hire Gongsun Hong in Youzhou, but when he learned that Gongsun Hong was too close to the King of Chu, he was worried and gave up. Both of these events were yu yan's own initiative and did not report to Emperor Hanming in time. After the Rebellion of the King of Chu, Emperor Ming of Han issued a severe reprimand to Yu Yan, "Yan Committed suicide." ”

Situ Xingmu "sat with Wang Yan of Fuling and committed suicide. Subsequently, "Yin Xuezhao of Henan was imprisoned and died", and Han Guang, the duke of Tuoma, "sat in rebellion against the King of Huaiyang (Liu) Yan." ”

After The Han Ming Emperor took the throne, he changed the style of Emperor Guangwu Huairou and drastically rectified the imperial program. He personally did it himself, "taking over the authority and not borrowing power"; he was very diligent, "B more (that is, the second change, about 22 o'clock) is all sleep, the first five changes (before 5 o'clock), the rate is often so"; he governs the country according to law, "good criminal reasoning, clear law." The sun sits in the direction, and the shadows will be reached. There is no selfishness inside and outside, and there is no grand color on the top. Break the prison and get the love, the number of the previous generation of twelve. ”

Under his rule of one heart and one mind with his subjects, the officials were diligent in government and loved the people, "the people are safe in their work, and they are satisfied near and far", "the sea is safe, and the four Yi are obeyed". The stable and peaceful internal and external environment has enabled the total population to increase geometrically. In the last years of the Guangwu Emperor, the total population was more than 21 million. By the late Han Ming Emperor, the "hukou breeding" reached more than 34 million. Emperor Ming of Han and his son Emperor Zhang of Han jointly created the prosperous era of "the rule of Ming Zhang".

Emperor Hanming suppressed foreign relatives, attacked the clan, and strictly ordered these three axes, cutting out a peaceful and prosperous world. If officials, large and small, can follow the example of Emperor Hanming, strictly discipline themselves, and lead by example, they will inevitably build a harmonious society with a clean and upright atmosphere.
