The original script of "Dawn 1949" was written by Ying Ruocheng, Fang Zhende, Di Xin and Lan Yinhai, and the performance was co-directed by Gu Wei and Wang Ban, starring Wang Ban, Cao Ying, Cheng Lisha, Shi Zhaoqi, etc. It will be the opening drama of the 2021 Chinese Drama Exhibition Season, which will be staged at the Beijing Comedy Theater recently.
The drama "Dawn 1949" takes the Battle of Pingjin in 1949 as the background of the story, revolves around the secret battles and games that occurred in the process of the Liberation and takeover of Northern Jinbei by the Communist Party of China, and tells the story of the fearless sacrifice of Chinese Communist Party members Cai Jinfeng, Ling Yi, Meng Yuan, Yu Peng and others, in the face of many difficulties and contradictions, with wisdom and bravery to powder the enemy's conspiracy one by one, and finally completed the peaceful transition of the city and ushered in the birth of new China.
