Judy Dench's new film Victoria and Abdul had its premiere at the Venice Film Festival on September 3, and its North American premiere was at the Toronto Film Festival. "When I turned 80 the first two years, my daughter (Finty Williams) took me shopping," Dench said in an interview. "As she was buying something, she suddenly said, 'Are you ready to get a tattoo now?' "The lady laughed a lot." I said yes, so I tattooed one on my wrist, what was written? <b>Carpe diem, Latin for 'just in time'</b>".

"To me, it means not to waste time," Dench said, raising his sleeve and showing reporters the tattoo on the inside of his wrist, a famous line in 1989's Dead Poetry Society. "Tattoo artists always like to tattoo the outside of the wrist so that others can see it. But I said, <b>I don't tattoo for others, I tattoo for myself</b>, and I also wear a lot of bracelets, and I will block it no matter what. Dench shrugged, "It's just for myself, really. Just a motto, something that I can notice when I look down. ”
