The history of Taiwan's Zheng Liwen, a hidden Taiwan independence element in the Kuomintang, Su Zhenchang scolded her as a traitor

author:Classic Watchmen

Since the establishment of the Democratic Progressive Party in the 1980s, Taiwan's political arena has entered an era of blue-green fierce battles. The Blue Camp headed by the Kuomintang and the Green Battalion headed by the Democratic Progressive Party attacked each other on the table, seemingly intolerable. But in fact, these blue-green politicians have come together for the sake of profit, and few have joined the party for the sake of ideals and beliefs. So some people will swing left and right between the blue-green camps and face Qin Twilight Chu. Today, Cheng Li-wen, a key member of the Kuomintang caucus of Taiwan's legislature, has always been known for her pungent and eloquent personality. She was once a DPP member and was cultivated by Taiwan independence bigwigs. Before 2000, she was also a representative figure in the Dpp who held high the banner of "Taiwan independence," but she was later expelled for repeatedly misrepresenting and injuring people in the same party, and after switching to the KmT, she became a fierce general in the Blue Camp. What is the specific situation, and wait for the next slow way.

Zheng Liwen

Cheng was born into a family of provincial and Taiwanese, her father is from Yunnan and her mother is from Yunlin, Taiwan. Since childhood, Zheng Liwen has lived in a village in Yunlin, a large area specially built by the Taiwan authorities after the defeat of the Kuomintang army in Taiwan for these soldiers and their families from other provinces. Inside the village, there are military families from all over the world, who were once the most determined Chinese. After entering the school, Cheng Liwen had excellent grades and successfully entered the best institution in Taiwan, the Law Department of National Taiwan University. This is also the starting point of Zheng Liwen's political career, National Taiwan University law is the cradle of many Taiwanese politicians, and Zheng Liwen on campus soon threw herself into the various movements of the student union. She also met luo Wuchang in the process, and the two registered their marriage in 2011. Both Zheng Liwen and Luo Wuchang are staunch "Taiwan independence" activists, and they are among the most staunch and fanatical ideological factions. Cheng joined the Democratic Progressive Party in 1988, and Luo Wuchang later became the chairman of the DPP's Taipei City Party Department.

Zheng Liwen in his youth

What Zheng Liwen upholds is the most firm pro-independence concept, which also makes her the favorite of many bigwigs in the DPP. After graduating from university, Cheng served as secretary general of the taiwan human rights promotion association, a pro-independence group, and later became a public opinion representative with the recommendation and support of the pro-independence faction. Cheng Liwen has always danced with the banner of the DPP's independence faction, and she also believes that the DPP is in line with her philosophy. In 1999, Lee Teng-hui threw out the "two-state theory," which made his "Taiwan independence" ambitions clear and cross-strait relations suddenly tense. Zheng Liwen and others were overjoyed and full of expectations, but the DPP clique at that time was very cold about this matter. Xiao Meiqin, a politician with a senior AMERICAN background in the DPP, personally went to the Taipei office of the American Institute in Taiwan to meet with Bo Ruiguang, then director of the department. This has aroused strong dissatisfaction from Zheng Liwen and others, and she herself has begun to wonder whether the DPP's "Taiwan independence" concept is real or whether the DPP's "Taiwan independence" concept is just a slogan to deceive support.

Since the beginning of college, Zheng Liwen's eloquence has been very clever, and the perspective of the problem is also very sharp. During the DPP period, her "combat effectiveness" was very strong, and she often participated in various political discussion programs. But her biggest problem is that she likes to talk about it and often offends people. In 2002, Lee Hing-an, a public opinion representative for the PFP legislature, accused Tu Xingzhe, then head of the DPP's health department, of misbehaving in the bar. Tu Xingzhe publicly stated that he had not been to the bar. In a subsequent political discussion program hosted by Sun Daqian, a public opinion representative of the people's legislature of the People First Party, Cheng Li-wen mentioned some bad speculations about Tu Xingzhe, and immediately there was an uproar in Taiwan's public opinion circles, especially within the DPP, which was very dissatisfied with Zheng Liwen's attack on the same party figures. A few days later, things took a big turn for the worse, and the whistleblower, Li Qingan, publicly apologized and claimed that he had recognized the wrong person. In this way, Zheng Liwen appeared to be a person inside and outside, and was soon expelled from the DPP. Cheng Liwen has always claimed that she was not expelled, but quit the DPP because of a disagreement in ideas, but now it seems that she is only hard-mouthed.

After Zheng Liwen broke up with the DPP, she did not immediately join other political groups, but instead devoted herself to the media industry as a host. In 2003, she became the host of the Taiwanese television program "Double Jiao" in the line of fire, and then as the host of Zhao Shaokang's "Flying Saucer Lunch" program of the media UFO Radio. This experience of media people has further enhanced Zheng Liwen's eloquence, and she is also more adept at using media platforms to enhance her political influence, while vigorously criticizing the DPP government. It is worth noting that what Cheng Liwen criticized was not the DPP's Taiwan independence line, but the Taiwan independence line of the DPP that was disliked was not "independent" enough, and it did not meet the expectations in her heart. In 2004, Chen Shui-bian was re-elected as the leader of the Taiwan region by a very narrow vote because of his involvement in the "319 shooting." This provoked strong resentment from the Kuomintang, which came on March 27, 2004, a week after the end of the regional leadership elections. The pan-blue camp held a massive rally against Chen Shui-bian on Ketagalan Avenue in Taipei City, and Zheng Liwen was the host of the protest. This is considered to be the starting point for Zheng Liwen to defect to the Kuomintang.

Zheng Liwen has long been involved in political discussion programs

In 2005, at the invitation of Mr. Lien Chan, chairman of the Kuomintang, Zheng Liwen officially joined the Kuomintang. She served as the vice chairman and spokesperson of the Kuomintang Cultural Communication Committee, and within half a year she was corrected and became a senior director within the Kuomintang. Zheng Liwen's pungent personality, sharp style and sharp speech have all added a lot of points to the Kuomintang, and have received a lot of support and exposure from the people. In 2008, the KMT won a resounding victory in the Taiwan regional leadership election, and Ma Ying-jeou successfully won the right to govern. Zheng Liwen was also escorted by the KUOMINTang into Taiwan's legislature as a representative of public opinion, which was the first time that Cheng Liwen appeared in Taiwan's legislature as a member of the Kuomintang, and her tough style made many DPP elements feel afraid. Moreover, because she has been cultivated within the DPP, Zheng Liwen's style is arrogant and arrogant, and she is quite a bit lawless and arrogant. Dare to scold, dare to argue, dare to charge, so that Zheng Liwen has become a rare "tough general" in the blue camp, and some media directly call her "blue camp female war god".

Zheng Liwen entering the Blue Camp

In 2012, Zheng Liwen was recruited by the Kuomintang to run for the election of the legislative representative in Taichung City, which is one of the few times she has taken to the streets, entered the people, and fought in a down-to-earth manner. In the end, Zheng Liwen lost the election with a gap of more than 8,000 votes. After the defeat, Zheng Liwen served as the spokesperson of the administrative agency, and at that time, he was still in power of the Blue Camp, so Zheng Liwen still had a lot of room for development. Zheng Liwen, who is good at seeking advantages and avoiding harm, did not suffer with the Kuomintang, but chose to avoid, and is really a villain who is only interested in profit. In 2018, the momentum of the KMT was continuously raised by Han Hanyu's "Korean Wave", which is also a sign of the kmt's momentum recovering. Zheng Liwen naturally will not miss such a good opportunity, in August 2018, Zheng Liwen returned to politics as deputy secretary-general of the Kuomintang. Two months later, the KMT won a complete victory over the DPP in the local county mayoral election process, and even the DPP's stronghold, Kaohsiung, was attacked by Han Kuo-yu, and the KMT's momentum went all the way up.

Zheng Liwen was full of combat strength and dared to shoot the table

In 2020, Zheng Liwen was once again escorted by the Kuomintang into the legislature of the Taiwan region, and after eight years of violation, Zheng Liwen successfully made a comeback. Her scolding of THE DPP officials' posture has earned her enough space and has repeatedly appeared in prominent positions in Taiwan's media. This has led to a rise in her political prestige, taking over as the KMT's secretary general in the legislature caucus in 2021. However, although she has joined the Kuomintang for more than ten years, Zheng Liwen's insistence on "Taiwan independence" has not weakened for a single day. She even continued to spread green rhetoric within the Kuomintang to infect and reform the Kuomintang people around her. Gradually, many Kuomintang members accepted these variants of Taiwan independence remarks and became representatives of "taiwan independence." This is also why we feel that the KMT's political views have become confused and vague, and it is precisely because there are too many green "Taiwan independence" remarks mixed in with them that the KMT has gradually "turned green." Zheng Liwen and others can be said to have transformed the "Kuomintang" and shaken the KMT's adherence to the "1992 Consensus."

Zheng Liwen and Su Zhenchang scolded

In fact, today's KMT and DPP have the same attitude on the issue of reunification, and the quarrels between them are often conflicts of interest rather than ideological conflicts, and their basic viewpoint is "refusal of reunification." Because Zheng Liwen once had the experience of the DPP, she has intersected with many DPP leaders. In 1996, in the process of Zheng Liwen's participation in the election of the Representatives, she invited many DPP bigwigs to solicit votes for her, and Su Zhenchang was one of them. Recently, Su Zhenchang was reprimanded by Zheng Liwen within the legislature, and he unveiled this black history in anger, and he scolded Zheng Liwen as a "traitor without face". Su Zhenchang also said, "It was really humiliating that you asked me to stand on the platform for you and hold your hand and shout 'elected'." The authenticity of this past is very high, and afterwards Zheng Liwen asked Su Zhenchang to apologize because Su Zhenchang insulted her "no face", but he did not dare to deny this past. In fact, if we go back to the beginning of this quarrel, we can find that Zheng Liwen questioned why Su Zhenchang did not buy a "nuclear submarine" from the United States, but was ridiculed by Su Zhenchang for "surrendering", which triggered the conflict. It is not difficult for us to find that Zheng Liwen still adheres to the pro-independence theory of that year, and even goes further. Tsai Ing-wen and Su Zhenchang did not dare to buy nuclear submarines for fear of further intensifying the cross-strait situation and causing war. However, Zheng Liwen was not afraid, and what she wanted was to "resist reunification by force" or even "resist reunification with nuclear weapons." However, it is said that Zheng Liwen is a Taiwan independence activist even more fanatical than Su Zhenchang and others, and he does not take the peace between the two sides of the strait and the well-being of the people in mind at all.

Zheng Liwen Considers Herself to Be "Taiwan Independence"

Taiwan's political arena is a big dyeing vat, so that many people can become half red and half white in it, and it is difficult to distinguish between loyalty and adultery. However, the Taiwan independence elements have changed their court through political means, and even a makeover cannot hide their original "Taiwan independence" ambitions. Zheng Liwen vigorously criticized the DPP in the legislature, not because she was anti-DPP, but because she felt that the DPP was not "independent" enough. Such politicians have occupied the top echelons of the Kuomintang for a long time, which is why Lin Weizhou and others want to change the name of the "Chinese Kuomintang" party, refuse to recognize the "1992 Consensus," and other incidents that are highly similar to Taiwan independence. The key to resolving the Taiwan Strait problem cannot be pinned on the KmT, nor can we pin our hopes on these political speculators who are blue and green, but blue or green. Instead, we should rely on the strong fighting spirit of China's 1.4 billion people and their strong determination to eliminate the Taiwan independence elements. No matter what kind of magnificent cloak the Taiwan independence elements put on, they will not be able to escape the judgment of history in the end. We will see how the situation in the Taiwan Strait develops in the future.
