Qinghai News Network , Damei Qinghai Client News The Qinghai-Tibet Highway is long and windy, there is a post road that is rugged and long, the ruts of the mail trucks in the snow and the Tuotuo River water melt into the Snow Peak Gobi, it is the "green note" leading to the world's tallest town, playing the beautiful melody of the military and civilian emotions on the "Hongyan Tianlu".

In 2009, in order to fulfill the responsibility of universal postal service, China Post Golmud City Branch opened a self-run car delivery post road from Golmud City to Tanggulashan Township, and set up 22 mail delivery points along the route, one flight a week, two days round trip, round trip, round trip of nearly 1,000 kilometers. Postal route service objects cover protection stations along the line, pumping stations, soldier stations, aircraft maintenance stations, yang road sections and people along the line, etc., in addition to handling mail, newspaper and periodical delivery business, but also provide mail receiving and mailing, commemorative postcards, philatelic products sales and other services, is a "mobile post office". The opening of the postal route has completely solved the problem of military and civilian postal services along the route, and the mail transmission time has been shortened by about ten days compared with the past, which is affectionately known as "Hongyan Tianlu" by the local people.

Ge Jun was the third courier on the "Hongyan Tianlu". When he shouldered the heavy responsibility of postal transportation on this road, he always kept in mind a sentence entrusted to him by his grandfather and father - "People's Post, serve the people". Since then, Ge Jun has embarked on an indefatigable road full of three generations of love for the postal industry.

In 2010, the 35-year-old Ge Jun took over the "baton" of this postal route, and since then he has raced against sandstorms, fought against wind, frost, snow and rain, and competed against high altitudes. After ten years of work, he has safely traveled more than 500,000 kilometers, delivered nearly 300,000 copies of party newspapers and party periodicals, and nearly 20,000 letters, becoming a well-deserved "Hongyan".

At first, his friend's confusion and family trivia had tripped him, but he was always very firm in his heart, saying: "Communists should charge into the front, and the old model Chen Changyan has been crawling and fighting in the Tanggula Mountain Post and Telecommunications Institute for decades. ”

The average altitude of the entire postal route is 4200 meters, often accompanied by rain and snow, hail, sandstorms and other weather, the weather is changeable, and the natural conditions are extremely harsh. Running "Hongyan Tianlu", most of the year will be accompanied by sandstorms, and the mail truck will soon be brushed with a thick layer of dust and integrated with the yellow sand. The sand and dust roared with the fierce wind, hitting the windshield hard, and Ge Jun rolled down the window and stretched out his head to look at the roadbed, while turning back and marching cautiously, every time he returned from this mail road, he was a gray-headed face, as if he had been planted in a pit.

Five teeth "ran" out, and colds became "commonplace". The harsh climate and dangerous situation not only could not stop his wheel of progress, but also trained his will and ability to deal with dangerous situations decisively, which was also the secret of his ability to always complete the postal task well.

The officers and men of the military station along the way had difficult living conditions, strict discipline, and tight tasks, so he helped them send money, send mail, wash photos, and buy medicines, books, and other daily necessities; the peasants and herdsmen along the way could not eat vegetables in winter, and the Toge army helped to buy them; he never shirked, always responded to their needs; the children in the family wore leftover clothes, backpacks, and excess school supplies, and he would give them to the children of the herdsmen's families living in poverty.

On the eve of the Mid-Autumn Festival in 2011, volunteers from the Yangtze River Source Water Ecological and Environmental Protection Station in Tanggula Mountain Town asked the station manager: "Teacher, can we eat mooncakes?" The webmaster sent this message of wanting to eat mooncakes to volunteers everywhere through text messages, and some Shenzhen volunteers responded positively, saying that they would mail mooncakes to them immediately. On the day of the Mid-Autumn Festival, there was a snowstorm, and everyone thought that they could not eat the mooncake, but Ge Jun delivered it on time. At that time, the station manager sent a text message to volunteers across the country - "The postman delivers mooncakes in the wind and snow", and Ge Jun has become a "special volunteer" since then.

Several times Ge Jun's mail trucks were stuck in muddy snow slopes and rocky beaches, and it was the lovely warriors and simple villagers who worked together to help pull it out. Ge Jun exchanged his own piece of love for thousands of hearts, and won the friendship, trust and love of the military and the people with his sincere service and selfless dedication.

"As long as there are people, there is China Post, and when it comes to helping them, I actually get more on this mail road myself." Ge Jun, who regards serving the people as the goal of life, always enthusiastically helps everyone he meets on the road.

In 2019, Qinghai Post launched the country's first "environmental protection postal road", in addition to the regular postal business, the "environmental protection postal road" also undertook the ecological environmental protection work such as removing garbage along the way and putting environmentally friendly packaging boxes. And this "environmental protection post road" is Ge Jun's "Hongyan Tianlu" that travels day and night. "Every time you take the garbage down the road, it's a matter of going along the way." However, seeing that this road is becoming cleaner and cleaner, thinking that I can also dedicate my strength to the ecological construction of the plateau, my heart is always beautiful. Ge Jun said that he was just one of thousands of Qinghai postal people, sticking to his post like them, struggling together on the postal road, building dreams and flying.
