China Telecom (00728) proposed the election of Li Zhengmao and Shao Guanglu as executive directors

China Telecom (00728) announced that the board of directors proposed the replacement plan of the seventh board of directors as follows: Re-elect the current executive directors Ke Ruiwen, Chen Zhongyue, Liu Guiqing, Zhu Min, Wang Guoquan and the current non-executive director Chen Shengguang as the directors of the seventh board of directors;

The current independent non-executive directors Xie Xiaoyan, Xu Erming, Wang Xueming and Yang Zhiwei were re-elected as independent directors of the seventh board of directors.

At the same time, the Board of Directors requested the shareholders of the Company to approve the election of Li Zhengmao and Shao Guanglu, President and Chief Operating Officer of the Company, as executive directors of the seventh board of directors of the Company at the annual general meeting of shareholders.

In addition, the Board of Supervisors recommended the re-election of Sui Yixun and Xu Shiguang, shareholder representative supervisors of the Sixth Supervisory Board, as members of the Seventh Supervisory Board of the Company. Ye Zhong, the shareholder representative supervisor of the sixth board of supervisors, will be appointed as a supervisor of the company after the expiration of his term of office on the date of the annual general meeting of shareholders due to his age.
