For in the life of a man, day and night, all the time, up and down, there are gods in charge of evil in the world who are observing, and according to the severity of the evil that each person has committed, he will take away his longevity. (A person who lives a hundred days is called a count, and those who commit light crimes will take less, and those who commit heavy crimes will take more.) ）

【Analysis】

There are three senses and five emperors in heaven, a hundred gods and divisions; there are five mountains and four defilements and a city god in the earth; and there is also a juyi division, which specializes in recording the good and evil of people's hearts and minds, all of which are so-called gods of passing. And the heart of heaven is compassionate and loving, and wants the world to eliminate evil for good in the place where it knows only in its own heart; thus there is a god of transgression, which examines the evil deeds committed by men, and measures the severity of evil deeds, and subtracts the life span of people by 100 days. Therefore, it is said: "The whispers of the world, in the sky, sound like thunder!" If a person does something unfortunate in the dark room, he will never escape the sharp eyes of the gods like thunder and lightning! "The two celestial beings, the so-called two children of good and evil, are recording people's good and evil words and deeds, including psychological behavior, twenty-four hours a day; so each of us must always think of these two heavenly beings who are examining and recording at any time and at any time, and do not let their evil thoughts continue! If a bad thought arises by chance, it must be immediately alerted and turned around. Therefore, self-denial must first be restrained from the place where it is difficult to restrain, and go all the way to the place where the thought arises and disappears; if we can work hard in this way, then our boundless karmic obstacles can be as pure as the void for a while. If this can be the case, then the power to seize the power of the long life of the auspicious and evil fortune can be exercised in our own hands, and the heavens and the earth ghosts and gods will have no choice!
