In the winter of 2018, Chen Chao came to Lushi County and served as a member of the party group and deputy director of the Lushi County Poverty Alleviation Office, mainly responsible for the pairing of Zhengzhou City to help Lushi County get rid of poverty. In Chen Chao's heart, he had already regarded Lushi County as his home and the villagers as his own family.
Poverty alleviation and prosperity are based on the soles of the feet, Chen Chao firmly believes in this, early out and late return has become a common thing. Over the years, Chen Chao has worn out 8 pairs of shoes, and he always laughs and says: "Every road and every bend in Lushi County, I am more familiar with it than the locals." ”
During his work at Lu's, Chen Chao truly built the help project into a model project and a high-quality project to benefit the poor people. The Zheng-Lu paired assistance work he is responsible for has ranked "first" in the evaluation of the effectiveness of poverty alleviation in the province in 2018 and 2019 for two consecutive years, and has won the "Lushi County Poverty Alleviation Contribution Award" for many times.
Talking about the former Lushi County, Chen Chao has a lot of feelings, "There are more than a dozen students in a school, from the first grade to the fourth grade, all the children have only one teacher to teach, and the teacher teaches Chinese and mathematics, and the environment here is unimaginable to us." ”
Today, this once state-level poverty-stricken county has a health room with more complete medical equipment, a cultural square with more sound cultural and recreational facilities, a more intelligent water plant, and a school with complete hardware. In addition, in order to fully ensure the safety of the villagers' housing, the renovation of dangerous houses was carried out to ensure that every household had water, electricity and network, and tried its best to make up for all the shortcomings of the Lu family.
In two years, the people here no longer have to worry about whether the house will collapse when it rains, do not have to go to the doctor for several hours, and will no longer be blocked and backward because of the lack of networks, and Lu's has undergone earth-shaking changes.
"Although the villagers don't know me, they all know that I'm here to help them and will often say thank you to me." Speaking of this, the corners of Chen Chao's eyes unconsciously glowed red. The mountain is high and the road is long, the journey is long, Chen Chao is still constantly shuttling through the mountains and rivers and fields, he wants to lead more people to a beautiful new life.
