According to reports, the Himeji City Government of Hyogo Prefecture announced on the 2nd that it will reduce the indoor temperature of the air conditioner to 25 degrees Celsius from July 16 to August 30 during the working hours. The Himeji City Government decided to conduct this experiment mainly because of a proposal made by Shuji Kajimoto, a close friend of Himeji Mayor Kiyomoto Hideta and a special professor at Osaka City University.
