Ma Yanqin, 42 years old at the time, was not in harmony with her husband, divorced very early, and then took her two daughters alone, used to work in a restaurant before, and finally quit her job because of illness and lived on labor protection.
In that era when women were very traditional and conservative, she behaved differently, because she and her daughter were sociable and good at dancing, and often held some large networking dances at home, also known as "family dances".

However, what people did not expect was that she only did something shameful behind her back in the name of making friends.
As the saying goes, "where there is an impermeable wall", before that, the police station already knew about her, and also asked Ma Yanqin about her dancing.
Ma Yanqin had no scruples and truthfully confessed that there were hundreds of men who attended the family dance before and after, and some men had a more intimate relationship with her, but after that, they did not go away.
Under the severe crackdown in 1983, she could not escape this time.
One day in September of the same year, two young literary and artistic young people, Xiao Tao and Xiao Min, were invited to Ma Yanqin's home to "dance", and when they went, they still thought that they were going to dance, and it was normal for young people to make friends.
They came to Ma Yanqin's home as promised, Xiaomin just entered the door and was startled by the small room of about 18 square meters in front of them, but Xiao Tao was quite light and familiar with the road into the house.
Seeing that they had arrived, Ma Yanqin quickly prepared herself, although she was a middle-aged woman, but her skin was fair, her charm was still there, and there was a young woman in the room, that is, Ma Yanqin's daughter.
Worried about the neighbor's report, they turned the sound of the tape recorder to the minimum, and the two pairs of opposite veneers jumped "two steps slower". The most popular music for dancing at that time was played, and it was regarded as Teresa Teng's "Nanping Evening Bell".

A few days later, the police knocked on the door of Xiaomin's house and were taken away for investigation, and the confused Xiaomin was transferred to the Xi'an Fifth Detention Center a month later, and Xiaomin saw Xiaotao in the police car. He learned that it was the "ball" that had been reported.
With the advancement of the evidence search and investigation of the "Ma Yanqin" case, more than 300 people have been arrested, all of whom have participated in Ma Yanqin's "family dance", of which 130 people have had multiple transactions with her and obtained benefits of 2,000 yuan.
Due to the complexity of the case, the "Ma Yanqin" case was not closed until 1984. At this time, the peak period of the strike-hard crackdown has passed, and criminal responsibility is not as heavy as last year, so only the three main members headed by Ma Yanqin have been shot.
On April 15, 1985, a public trial meeting was held at the Xi'an Stadium, and Ma Yanqin was subsequently executed at the execution site in the northern suburbs.
