As early as 135 BC, the town of Moutai produced the wolf sauce wine that Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty called "sweet and beautiful", and made the wolf sauce wine a tribute, which was gradually recognized by the four countries.
In the Qing Dynasty, Renhuai Zhili Hall tongzhi Chen Xijin composed a poem for him: "Special things move people to pay for wine glasses, and the miasma on the lychee beach opens; the Han family wolfberry sauce knows what it is, and earns the Tang Meng Xi Department." This is further evidence that Moutai Town has a long history of sauce wine brewing.
From the perspective of geographical environment, Moutai Town is located in the northern part of Qianbei, with excellent water quality, pleasant climate, and local people are good at winemaking, and the predecessors called this area "wine country". In the "wine town", the wine produced in the core production area of 7.5 square kilometers of sauce and fragrant wine in Moutai Town is the most sweet, which is called "Moutai roast" or "Moutai Spring".
The Bobosmith Wine Industry is located in the core production area of 7.5 square kilometers of quality sauce wine in Maotai Town, the holy land of Chinese sauce wine. Formerly known as the state-run supply and marketing cooperatives in 1984 in response to the national policy of independent entrepreneurship, the staff of the state-owned supply and marketing cooperatives established the earlier and few traditional breweries in Moutai Town.
In 1996, the Hu family acquired the distillery and established the "Gentleman's Distillery". In 2007, the "Gentleman Distillery" was relocated from the Chishui River to the Shiba Sub-Group of Chunshu Village, Maotai Town, realizing large-scale brewing of base wine for large-scale oem sales by large enterprises.
In 2014, founder Hu Bo and hundreds of entrepreneurs and alumni of Ceibas Europe International Business School had an in-depth exchange of ideas, colliding: "Dreams are magnificent, feelings are turbulent; the vast majority of enterprises that have not only adhered to their feelings but also realized their dreams, their core is inseparable from the adherence to the spirit of ingenuity." Thus was born the "Bobo Craftsman" brand.
With the joint support of a group of CEIBS professors and alumni entrepreneurs with dreams and feelings, Bobo Craftsman Wine adheres to the spirit of ingenuity and makes a conscience wine, a good wine that future generations are proud of. Bobosmith Distillery has developed so far, has formed an area of more than 300 acres (planning land of more than 600 acres), the annual output of high-quality base wine more than 2,000 tons, the storage of high-quality base wine more than 4,000 tons, with more than 10 years of old wine and seasoning wine more than 1,000 tons of large-scale enterprises. In 2023, Bobosmith Wine will achieve a production capacity of 5,000 tons of high-quality base wine, and the core product Bobosmith 15 strives to achieve annual sales of 500 tons.
