If you have been paying attention to LingHu's storytelling, then you will definitely have the impression that I have told the Xishan Shijue, but I did not talk about the whole thing, just about Cixi, Yuan Shikai, Zhang Zhidong, Zeng Guofan and Hezhen, and the person I am talking about today is also one of the Ten Jiao, and he is still in the first place, he is Hong Chengyu.
What kind of animal is the first animal in the Xishan Ten Warriors, is the badger, in the old age, the badger can be regarded as a rare thing, whether it is badger skin or badger oil, even badger meat is only something that the magnate can enjoy, so the common people say that the badger likes to follow the magnates, but also dedicated to the master's work, loyal as a dog, so Hong Chengzu was originally a general of the Ming Dynasty, but finally turned his back on the old master, followed the Emperor Taiji, and became a loyal vassal of the Manchu Qing.

Of course, this is just a folklore, what was the historical Hong Chengyu like?
Born on October 16, 1593, Hong Chengyu was born on October 16, 1593, Zi YanYan, Heng Jiu, a native of Nan'an Yingdu, Quanzhou, Fujian Province, who was promoted to the governor of Shaanxi in the late Ming Dynasty, and also became the governor of Jiliao during the Chongzhen period, but after the Battle of Songjin, he surrendered to the Qing Dynasty, and spared no effort, and the official was crown prince Taibao, Bingbu Shangshu and Du Chayuan Right Capital Imperial History, and finally appointed as a military scholar of the Governor of the South, in 1665, Hong Chengzuo died, Kangxi issued a royal edict, gave the young master, and the title of "Wenxiang".
I once watched an issue of "The Tales of Lao Liang", which talked about Hong Chengzuo, and at the end of the talk, it is said that Hong Chengzu's surrender to the Qing Dynasty is in line with the trend of history, and I really do not agree with this, which makes the fox think that everything that Hong Chengzu has done, no matter which country or nationality he puts into, is called a traitor, do you see that even if he was the Manchu Qing clique that he finally gave his allegiance to, didn't he still write him into the "Biography of the Second Minister"?
In fact, the evaluation of Hong Chengzuo in the historical circles has always been controversial, basically the conflict between practical interests and the principle of justice, I once said that the evaluation of historical figures, can not open the perspective of God, in fact, turn over, historical figures should also conform to the values of the time, the Ming Dynasty is talking about Confucianism, the most essence of Confucian righteousness is to sacrifice life for righteousness, kill to become benevolent, of course, you can now say that you are foolish, but in that environment at that time, as a loyal and good general, what is engraved in the bones, just like I said before, Usually, he throws up his sleeves and talks about his heart, repays the king when he is in danger, dies in a martial arts battle, so Hong Chengzuo is really one of the worst negative examples in the history of Confucianism for thousands of years.
In fact, as a military general, Hong Chengzu's ability is indeed very strong, from the perspective of the entire Songjin campaign process, although Gu Tou disregards his stomach, but Hou Jin fought very hard, Zilharaang commanded the right wing to be beaten by the Three Banners to flee, the red flag forward, Negribatu lost his armor, escaped on a single horse, the blue flag general, Wen Cha abandoned the defeat and fled, the red flag general, Aramu was seriously injured for his subordinates to rescue, abandoned the defeat and fled, to the fourteenth year of Chongzhen, the PK of the Emperor Taiji and Hong Chengzuo, tactically the two people can only be said to be five or five kai, Huang Taiji was even slightly inferior.
The two sides began a major battle on the morning of the twenty-first day, killing until a stalemate, after which the Ming army retreated in two parts, the headquarters retreated to Songshan, thousands of cavalry retreated in the direction of Xingshan, the Qing soldiers chased after the cavalry, so the main force pursued the Ming army brigade, in pursuit, the Ming army brigade suddenly turned back to kill, and the Qing army rear also suddenly appeared Ming army raid, only a hundred steps away from the Emperor Taiji. In a hurry, Emperor Taiji ordered all the departments to turn to battle, and personally held aloft the imperial cover, leading several relatives to accompany them, going back and forth between the various departments, commanding the deployment of the front, and stabilizing the hearts of the army. Subsequently, the Ming army retreated, but the Korean Shizi who was conscripted said that it was actually Emperor Taiji who "retreated when ambushed" and took the initiative to withdraw, so It is said that Hong Chengyu was a good hand in fighting.
The defeat in the Battle of Songjin, he was indeed not the main responsibility, it was caused by many objective circumstances, mainly the choices he made after being captured. Generally, after being captured, there are four choices: martyrdom; temporary surrender, later escape; when the living dead, no longer act; and try to work for the new master.
Fear of death and surrender is the common sentiment of people, but Hong Chengyu chose the last one, if he did not write down the sentence "Jun'en is like the sea, the subject is like a mountain", it will fall, anyway, he is not the only one who has descended, although Qian Qianyi left behind the "good story of thousands of years" with itchy skin and cold water, but the good villains also secretly funded the anti-Qing movement, and there is Zu Dashou, who is a warlord faction, who has always been in the front line of the confrontation between the Ming and Qing dynasties, and in the predicament he surrendered and rebelled, rebelled and surrendered, ran back to the south at the first opportunity, and swore to kill him by the Emperor Taiji. The Battle of Songjin, Jinzhou was besieged for two years, ran out of food, really tried his best, Zu Dashou really couldn't move, only to completely surrender, after the surrender, Zu Dashou in addition to writing a letter to Wu Sangui surrender, until he died of illness, he did not give the Qing Dynasty a strategy, effect, although these two people were also ridiculed, criticized, but at least compared with Hong Chengzu, their criticism is much lighter, at most it is spineless, greedy and afraid of death.
If in order to save his life, he has a lesson from the past, but why did he not choose the fourth one, because Hong Chengzu essentially values things most of all, to do things, to achieve merit, as for loyalty or not, that is added value, if he has achieved merit, just happen to be consistent with loyalty, then be a great loyal minister; if not consistent, then abandon loyalty, which is doomed to be different from Zu Dashou and others, so he is not just a lack of backbone, but a naked leading party, raising a butcher's knife against the People of Daming.
At the moment of life and death, Hong Chengzuo was persuaded by Fan Wencheng, and it was also said that it was Xiaozhuang seduction, which was completely a wild history and could not be trusted, and then in the performance of Corporal Lixian in the Emperor Taiji, he turned his back on his homeland, shaved his hair and wore braids, bent his manners, and Daming was cut off from then on. After the death of Emperor Taiji, the regent of Dorgon, Hong Chengyu and Fan Wencheng, together with Fan Wencheng, urged the Manchu Qing to advance into the Central Plains, and worked hard for it and gave advice. After Dorgon's death, Shunzhi was pro-government, and he held hongcheng's affection for him, pushing his heart, thinking that he had to show his economy, and he had ambitions to run for the Manchu Qing, but even more he did not care about hard work.
When Hong Chengyu was in Jiangnan, he hunted down and killed the anti-Qing righteous soldiers, and Huang Daozhou, Jin Zhengxi, Chen Zilong, xia Wanchun, and so on were all killed by him. When the famous Southern Ming general Li Dingguo won successive battles and won successive victories, recovered most of Guangxi and Hunan, and even broke the myth of the invincibility of the Eight Banner Army in the field, the situation in Southern Ming was very good, and the Qing court was once panicked, planning to abandon the seven southwestern provinces and make peace with Southern Ming.
In his twilight years, Hong Chengzu was ordered to build a shogunate in Changsha, build a thousand-mile long wall to wait for change, divide in all ways, induce a thousand kinds of inducements, recruit rebels, step by step, for several years, and finally dragged sun Kewang and Li Dingguo into a discord and infighting, attacked each other, and then recruited Sun Kewang, took the opportunity to advance yungui, would attack Kunming, and turned the once-broken situation upside down for the Manchu Qing, and finally unified the army to kill The Southern Ming and pacify the southwestern provinces.
Hong Chengzu, with the body of the wind and candle, painstakingly managed, exhausted his wisdom, and did not hesitate to drive away from old diseases, walking on horseback, walking in the swamp and rugged terrain, bent on destroying the Southern Ming Dynasty. In terms of heart, Hong Chengyu's plan is that as long as the former Ming Dynasty does not resurrect and the Qing Dynasty becomes the Zhonghua Zhengshuo, it can seal the mouth of the time and the future generations, and make his surrender become the so-called "obedience to the Mandate of Heaven".
If people have talent and no morality, they are actually more terrifying than those who have no talent and no morality, because they have both an urgent desire to accomplish things, no moral bottom line, and they are also capable, and such people can do anything. No stable dynasty can propagate such behavior.
Hong Chengzu betrayed not only the Ming Dynasty, but not just the Chongzhen Emperor; he betrayed the entire Huaxia Shenzhou, betraying the minimum conscience and bottom line of human beings. It's just a pity that the organs are too clever, the Qing Dynasty did not regard him as a hero, and the Manchu Qing was not happy with him, but it was not after he died that people went to tea and cold, but when he was still alive, he was already unwilling to take care of him, so in the Qianlong Revision History, Hong Chengyu was also written into the biography of the second minister.
Finally, to tell a true story, when I was a child, I once asked my father, "Who is Wang Jingwei?" My father's hand cutting vegetables did not stop, "Big traitor! Then I asked, "Who is Hong Chengyu?" My father's hand cutting vegetables stopped, and then he slashed a knife viciously, "He's a fool 13!" ”
