The second part of the flower city of the winter solstice tour: Qinghui Garden

author:Look at Beijing, look at China and see the world

The most famous chinese garden is the top ten gardens. In 1961, the first batch of national key cultural relics protection units had four of the ten famous gardens: Beijing Summer Palace, Suzhou Humble Administrator's Garden, Chengde Mountain Resort and Suzhou Lingering Garden. The other six are the national key cultural relics protection units announced in the subsequent batches: Suzhou Master of Nets Garden, Shanghai Yu Garden, Beijing Yuanmingyuan, Wuxi Jichang Garden, Yangzhou Garden, Haiyan Qi Garden, Baoding Ancient Lotus Pond and Shunde Qinghui Garden. The last of these is Shunde Qinghui Garden, which is also the only Lingnan garden among the top ten gardens. That is to say, the best of this Lingnan garden is Shunde Qinghui Garden, and we definitely have to go to see it.

This Shunde was originally a county under the jurisdiction of the prefecture-level city of Foshan, and under the impetus of the tide of urbanization, it has now become a district of Foshan. Foshan is close to the city of Guangzhou, and can be reached from Guangzhou by the Guangzhou-Foshan Line Light Rail. Shunde is actually very close to Guangzhou, from our hotel out of the subway to Guangzhou South Railway Station, transfer to the city rail can be to Shunde, very convenient. Then there was the big public pulling us from the city rail station to the gate of Qinghui Garden. Below is the newly built park gate, you can enter without a ticket.

The site of Qinghui Garden was first built by the local ruler Huang Moumou during the Ming Dynasty, including a back garden. Huang Moumou's descendants were powerless, and gradually fell in the middle of the family. During the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, Shunde Longying was a jinshi, and he put Huang Moumou's house down to build his own family home. The three generations of the Long family were jinshi, and Long Yuanren, the grandson of Long Yingshi, was a jinshi during the Jiaqing period. In the eleventh year of Jiaqing (1805), Long Yuanren expanded the house into the first version of the current Qinghui Garden, and then asked Li Zhaoluo, a jinshi of the same year, to write the name of the garden. The Qinghui Garden seen now was later expanded, including in recent years, but its foundation is still the Dragon Family Residence.

Entering the gate, I saw a large octagonal pond with a mixture of fish and dragons.

Looking at these red water-jet beasts reminds me of an anecdote about the ancients. It is said that in the eleventh year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (1388), there was a jinshi named Xie Jin, who was quite talented, was the editor-in-chief of the Yongle Canon, and together with Yang Shen and Xu Wei, he was known as the three great talents of the Ming Dynasty, and the later official was the first assistant to the cabinet. Xie Jin was already slightly famous in the jishui countryside of his hometown of Jiangxi, and he was even more famous for his neighbors. At that time, there was a retired Li Shangshu who also lived in Xie Jin Township, and during the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty, there was a Li Uncle who was Libu Shangshu, who was also from Jiangxi. Although Uncle Li suddenly had a heart attack and a big dream during the rebbe Shangshu's tenure, we pretended that this Li Shangshu was the hometown where the old man returned Xie Jin. One day, Li Shangshu invited Zuo Jin to a squire, and he also invited Xie Jin to eat wine together. This is a bit of a compilation, Shangshu is a very big official, equivalent to the current minister. That Xie Jin had not yet achieved fame at this time, and was at home with a daily cone of thorns. How could this retired minister invite an unemployed young man to drink? It turned out that this Li Shangshu was also a prodigy when he was young, and he had attended the Guozijian juvenile class, and he was very willing to promote a self-motivated literary and artistic youth like Xie Jin. Saying that, these squires felt indignant during the banquet, how could they let Xie Jin, a poor scholar, drink the wine in our pot? The squires taunted Xie Jin for fun in the name of solving the pair, and one of them saw that Xie Jin was wearing a green jacket (the hat was another color), so he made a previous sentence for Xie Jin to say: "The toad in the well wears a green jacket." Xie Jin squinted his eyes at a red-clothed squire whom he despised, and immediately said to him: "The crab in the pot is wearing a red robe", and the red-clad squire had to hide his face. At this moment, I looked at the ichthyosaurs in the pool above, and I remembered the crabs in the pot that Xie Jin said.

A new pavilion was built behind the fountain.

Behind the pavilion is the original Gate of Qinghui Garden, which is said to be the gate, but it is not big.

The second part of the flower city of the winter solstice tour: Qinghui Garden

The door is simple and unassuming. The door plaque reads "Qinghui Yuxiu", which was also written by Li Zhaoluo, an old man who was a scholar of the Qing Dynasty. The inscriptions of the ancients are all said, and there must be allusions. Qinghui: The meaning of landscape; Li Bai in the Tang Dynasty had "the ancient mountain has a pine moon, and Chi'er plays Qinghui". Yu Xiu: Nurturing talents. Shi Xiaoyou of the Song Dynasty had "Chu Jing Yu Xiu, a masterpiece for several years". Qinghui Yuxiu is to say that here "the mountains and rivers are beautiful, and talents are born".

The stone lion in the glass cover is a replica of the antiquities, typical of the Lingnan style, with a lively appearance. There are peonies and phoenixes on the stone base, peonies are the king of flowers, phoenixes are the kings of birds, lions are kings of beasts, this is the legendary "three king lions"! Hearing is false, this time seeing is believing.

The door is locked and is clearly not a place for tourists to enter and exit. It turns out that tourists have to go to another entrance, and there are people checking tickets, and feelings still have to spend money to buy tickets. When I entered the garden, I saw a small black house with the words "Xiyin Book House" on the door plaque.

The Dragon Family can produce several generations of scholars, indicating that it is still a scholarly door, so reading must be one of the most important tasks. An inch of time and an inch of gold, cherishing the yin is to cherish the time, certainly not the meaning of "pity the cloudy day".

Next to the bookstore is a small pond, which may be taken from Zhu Xi's meaning of "half an acre of square pond is opened, and the sky and clouds and shadows linger together". At the edge of the pool stands a water pavilion "Chengyi Pavilion".

It turned out to be a hall of honor.

Ming and Qing Dynasties are the first place in the temple examination of the examination list. Originally a Red Arowana Bookstore in Qinghui Garden, this Zhuangyuan Hall was hung with a plaque of "Zhuangyuan Hall" when the government rebuilt it in recent years. The Dragon Family did not produce a title, and guangdong in the Qing Dynasty only produced three titles, one of which was Liang Yaoshu, a Shunde man during the Tongzhi period, and could not fight with the eight rods of this Qinghui Garden. In fact, the back of the official hat in this Zhuangyuan Hall is Huang Shijun, the original owner of Qinghui Garden and the Ming Dynasty, and it is also not related to the later Qinghui Garden. The three orthography characters of "Zhuangyuantang" are written by the Qing Dynasty calligrapher Liang Tongshu, which is quite beautiful. Liang Tongshu was a special scholar of the qianlong seventeenth year (1752) temple examination, indicating that his skills were profound and he was very popular with Qianlong. However, he had never been an official, and when Qianlong's mother had his eightieth birthday and Qianlong's own eightieth birthday, Liang Tongshu had both entered the capital to celebrate his birthday, but he had not asked Qianlong for an official position. Liang Tongshu only did calligraphy and painting, especially writing, inscriptions all over the world, and finally died at the age of ninety-three, longer than Qianlong. Since this plaque is not written for the Dragon Family, it is not known where it came from.

Because "Qinghui" is a landscape, there must be a lot of water in this garden, and there are continuous pond corridors and intermittent pavilions at the water's edge. Water, corridors and pavilions are the characteristics of this Qinghui Garden, as well as the characteristics of Lingnan Gardens.

In addition to ponds, there are ditches to fill the ponds. Along the ditch there are also curved corridors and pavilions.

The walls in Qinghui Garden are also very distinctive, even if the courtyard wall on the flat ground, the top should be undulating, which is a must have a sense of rhythm for Lingnan architecture. The window leaks on the wall are also varied and inviting. You see, the undulating red wall ridges, the gray wall tiles, the chic window shape, the lush landscape outside the window, the clarity is not by you sighing.

The second part of the flower city of the winter solstice tour: Qinghui Garden

In addition to the leaking windows, the stained glass windows in Qinghui Garden are also very distinctive. The window on the small aisle below has a "Hundred Birds and Phoenix" paint sign on both sides of the wall, and the window glass is full of various flowers, birds, fish and insects and Pots carved flowers and grinding flowers.

If it is a large area of stained glass windows in the hall, there are more spaces to create a strong man's haunt. The furniture in the house is a bit unmatched, and it is placed here in the early Qing Dynasty style backrest chairs and small numbers, which is very simple. If you put the kind of carved fancy furniture after the middle of the Qing Dynasty, it may be more in line with this fancy window.

Picked a very fancy hollowed out moon door and came out, along the curved corridor back to the ticket gate.

Qinghui Garden still reflects the traditional Chinese garden style, chinese gardens pay attention to the need to have landscapes, and then around the landscape landscape. Of course, the mountain is a rockery, or a stone is stacked, or the Taihu lake stone is piled up, and the same is true in qinghui garden. The water is a pond dug out, with masonry as the side, open ditches and dark channels to divert water into the pool, and then you can build pavilions and various water pavilions on the side of the pool, and the same is true in Qinghui Garden. The characteristic of Lingnan in Qinghui Garden is that it borrows mountains and water to build buildings, or terraces, or water pavilions, even if it is only a small building, it is not Lingnan. The Beijing school garden is like a watercolor painting, the Su-style garden is like an ink painting, and this Lingnan garden is a heavy color painting. The Beijing Royal Garden has a vast space, with clear high and low, dense rhythm; the rhythm of private gardens such as Su style and Lingnan can only be mastered by meandering paths, light and shade, virtual reality and the height of architecture, which can better reflect the exquisite and elegant Chinese classical gardens. Accustomed to the magnificent atmosphere of the Beijing school garden, it is very refreshing to walk around this small Lingnan garden.

From Shunde to the city rail back to Downtown Guangzhou, it is still very convenient, the city rail has a train in less than ten minutes, standing inside less than half an hour can get off at Guangzhou South Railway Station. Guangzhou South Railway Station has a subway, into the door of the subway, then go all over the world is not afraid, love where to go. Yes, go up.
