"EVA" Tree of Life Analysis

The tree of good and evil and the tree of life are the same tree, and the process of human beings falling from the realm of perfection down is called the tree of distinguishing between good and evil, and all the laws of the world and even the universe have no distinction between good and evil, until human beings have the concept of "self" after the fall. When human enlightenment is to return to the human realm, the way to reverse ascension is the tree of life. The two trees are actually one tree, but the direction is different, so there are two names to distinguish the direction.

The intellectual principles of Kabbalah come from the Bible "Genesis", "Revelation", and the "Book of Creation" (Sepher Yetzirah) that appeared in the third to sixth centuries. The third-century compilation of the Book of Radiance (Sepher ha-Zohar) also occupies an important place in the prototype of Kabbalah thought.

Next, the Wood of Life is explained. Kabbalah thought is the "tree of life" that grows in heaven to symbolize the whole universe, its meaning is very difficult to understand, if necessary, the wood of life means the vast universe, the human body as a small universe, and the spiritual traversal that reaches the realm of God. This tree of life is made up of ten circles (Sephira) and 22 passes (Passe). Human beings are in separate kingdoms, going through 22 paths to ten circles and meditating until they reach the crown. In addition, it is said that each circle has a guardian, guiding the people's archangels.

The Meaning of The Ten Sephiroth:

(Kaether: Crown) - (Metatron: Metathatro) the point between the great universe above humanity's head. It has the meaning of the fountain of creation, the fountain of pure existence, the fountain of life force. Transcendence, the nature of God, also represents the heaven of pure fire.

(Cochma: Wisdom) - (Ratziel: Rachel) alias "Father of the Highest", a symbol of the masculine principle and "mobility". Wisdom, pure reason, the origin of creation; it also represents the stellar heaven/the original moving heaven.

(Binah: understanding) - (Zaphkiel: Yavjie) Has the nickname "Mother of the Highest", and Cochma is the corresponding relationship, giving all things a form. Execution, substantive reason, the fountain of creation: it also represents saturn sky.

(Chesed: mercy) - (Zadkiel: Sadkiel) means the pure and divine universal law - "love".

Love, mercy, grace, greatness; also represents the heavens of Jupiter.

(Geburah: strict) - (Camael: Carmel) is alias "the surgeon of angels".

Law, God's power, the discovery of evil, anger; also represent the martian sky.

(Tiphreth: Beauty) - (Michael: Michael) The central location of the Wood of Life. A centre that complements all biological energy sources. Compassion, mediation, beauty; also represent the sun days. This primordial essence is the core of the Tree of Life.

(Netreth: Victory) - (Hamiel: Yanal) contains the meaning of "abundance" and the number is 7. 7 is from the Biblical Book of Genesis god's "seven days of creation." There is a sense of solidity and courage. Forever, expanding, triumphant; it also represents the venus sky.

VIII. (Hod: Glory) - (Raphael: Raphael) has the meaning of "cast" in the form of matter.

Dignity, contraction, glory; it also represents the sky of Mercury.

(Iesod: base disk) - (Gabriel: Gabriel) means "astral body", that is, the aura in the soul and body. In this way, Kabbalah expresses "pre-existing matter". The foundation, the foundation of all things, the ingenuity of God; it also represents the moon and the sky.

(Malchut: Kingdom) - (Metatron: Metatron) Meaning "kingdom of matter".

Kingdom, matter, and man also represent the synthesis of the four elements, that is, the existence of matter.

If we connect the primordials of 1 to 10 in turn, it is called the Path of the Flaming Sword.

After the first Sephirah "Kether: Crown", a three-tiered ring of energy is encountered:

The Four Worlds:

The Material World Prototype: The earth-primordial light disintegrates and begins to crystallize into matter, the natural world, and the existence of man. Abstract ideas become concrete things, which is the world of man. We humans live in a world where the soul has a body.

The 22 Paths:

The "path" is the connection of meaning between two primitives, and the tree of life represents the process of spiritual to material production.

Evangelion uses the concept of the Tree of Life to make it more widely known. The Kabbalah Tree of Life is an important core theory in the Western occult system.

EVA also borrows this line of thought, the tree of life bears fruit, the apostles get the "fruit of life", and mankind gets the "fruit of wisdom", and the withered tree of life roots must be the gun of Longinus. In the theatrical version, the mass production machine equipped with the S2 mechanism sacrifices to complete the ceremony, drawing the pattern of the tree of life in the sky, and the gun of Longinus is re-rooted and transformed into the tree of life, and the human completion plan is officially opened.
