With regard to the list of punishments for "Taiwan independence" diehards published by the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, some people have questioned: Why is there no name of Tsai Ing-wen, the leading evil element of "Taiwan independence," in this list?
In this regard, Professor Qiu Yi, a well-known political commentator in Taiwan, believes that the list released by the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council highlights Su Zhenchang, You Xikun, Wu Zhaoxie, and others, but this does not mean that there are only 3 "Taiwan independence" elements in the list.

Judging from the heavy news released by the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council this time, the mainland has cracked down on the "Taiwan independence" diehards with unprecedented intensity this time, and it has maintained a zero-tolerance attitude toward them and will never tolerate them. Punitive measures against them include pursuing them for criminal responsibility for life, prohibiting them and their families from entering the mainland, Hong Kong and Macao, prohibiting them from investing in the mainland, Hong Kong and Macao for profit, and confiscating all their property in the mainland, Hong Kong and Macao.

The DPP authorities' countermeasures and retaliation will not cause substantial harm to the mainland, but Professor Qiu Yi is worried that Tsai Ing-wen has no way to take the mainland, and may target the people on the island's reunification faction by arbitrarily locking hats, fabricating various crimes, going door-to-door to check water meters, and even carrying out assassinations.
However, as a patriot on the island who supports reunification, Professor Qiu Yi resolutely supports the actions of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council and hopes that this is the beginning of "opposing independence and promoting reunification" and that more attention should be paid to the implementation of punitive measures against "Taiwan independence" diehards.
Although it is the darkest before dawn, the island's reunification faction will be more difficult in the future and may suffer more persecution by the Tsai Ing-wen authorities, but they still firmly support cross-strait reunification, even if they have sacrificed, they have nothing to fear, and hope that the dream of cross-strait reunification can come true.
