"Zheng Shi'er" (WeChat ID: gcxxjgzh) noted that regarding the current situation of rural education, Song Ping stressed the importance of rural issues, "China's urban and rural areas are very different, and rural areas are the largest part of China's masses and society. He also pointed out the focus that needs to be paid to at present, "understanding the countryside, farmers and their needs" and "left-behind children are now a big thing." ”

gcxxjgzh notes that Song Ping is the oldest surviving member of the Retired Standing Committee, born in 1917. As early as the Fourth Plenary Session of the 13th Central Committee in 1989, the 72-year-old Song Ping was added to the Politburo Standing Committee along with Jiang Zemin and Li Ruihuan.

Song Ping is known as the "Talent Bole", and he has worked with 3 generations of leaders. According to public reports, he was Zhou Enlai's political secretary, known as Deng Xiaoping's "old buddy", had a good personal relationship with Chen Yun, and had recommended Hu Jintao.

Song Ping has worked in Gansu for 9 years. "Zheng Shi'er" (WeChat ID: gcxxjgzh) found that in the 1980s, Song Ping, then secretary of the Gansu Provincial Party Committee, recommended Hu Jintao, then deputy director of the Gansu Provincial Construction Committee. In 1992, Song Ping, who had already stepped down from his post as a member of the Standing Committee, proposed to the Central Committee, Deng Xiaoping, and Chen Yun, in the name of the personnel arrangement group of the 14th Cpc Congress, to select Hu Jintao as a member of the new Politburo Standing Committee.

As an old leader who has been retired for more than 20 years, Song Ping lives in simplicity, but also occasionally appears. "Political Affairs" (WeChat ID: gcxxjgzh) noted that in the nearly three years since the 18th Party Congress, including the above-mentioned meetings with volunteer teachers, Song Ping has appeared in public reports at least five times.

"Political Affairs" (WeChat ID: gcxxjgzh) noted that this is the fourth time that Song Ping has been elected as a member of the Standing Committee of the Presidium of the National Party Congress of the Communist Party of China since he stepped down from his position as a member of the Politburo Standing Committee in 1992.

At the opening ceremony of the 18th National Congress on November 8, 2012, Song Ping appeared in a dark gray Zhongshan suit. "Zheng Shi'er" (WeChat ID: gcxxjgzh) looked up the pictures of the public report and found that at that time, sitting on his left side was Li Lanqing, and on the right was Zhu Rongji.

On the morning of June 12, 2014, Song Ping appeared on a charity event to help poor out-of-school children "realize their dreams" as soon as possible, wearing a white shirt and black cloth shoes and walking sticks. "Political Affairs" (WeChat ID: gcxxjgzh) noted that in public reports, this is the first time that Song Ping appeared in public news reports after the 18th Party Congress.

On the same day, when meeting with the organizers of the activity, jiangsu COSCO Education Aid foundation directors and supervisors, Song Ping encouraged them to accumulate virtue and do good deeds, advocate the world, and help more poor children in China realize their dreams. According to reports, about 10 minutes later, the organizers said that due to Song Ping's advanced age, he needed to leave the scene early.

When the leaders of the foundation reported to Song Ping, Song Ping took the initiative to name it "Dream Realization Class", "on the one hand, it is to let children in poor areas realize their dreams, and the other is to echo General Secretary Xi Jinping's Chinese Dream." Jin Yong, deputy secretary general of the foundation, said that when writing the inscription for the dream class, Song Ping wrote it 3 times and finally chose a version.

Therefore, the realization of "reading dreams", "life dreams", and "career dreams" has become the slogan of the foundation, and the "dream realization class" is mainly aimed at the actual situation of the schools in poor areas and the poor students who receive assistance.

"Political Affairs" (WeChat ID: gcxxjgzh) noted that song ping also attended the event with Zhang Quanjing, former director of the Central Organization Department, and Teng Wensheng, former director of the Central Policy Research Office.

On September 15 this year, Guangming Daily published Song Ping's preface to the book "Deng Liqun's Self-Description: 1915-1974."

According to the statistics of "Political Affairs" (WeChat ID: gcxxjgzh), the preface is 1860 words, and Song Ping said that in his self-statement, he could read the intellectuals needed by the party and the people.

Song Ping wrote in the preface that his experience with Deng Liqun was somewhat close. They all studied in Beiping before the July 7 Incident, witnessed the dark reality of Japanese imperialism's invasion of China and the Kuomintang's concessions to the outside world and suppression at home, and later joined the ranks of the party. Later, during the Cultural Revolution, no matter how much he fought and how much he suppressed, Deng Liqun insisted on telling the truth and maintained the principle of party spirit of Communist Party members.

The preface reads: After the Thirteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China, Li Qun withdrew from the leading post, grew older, his hearing and eyesight declined, and he still diligently studied and wrote, especially in accordance with the instructions of Comrades Xiaoping and Chen Yun, he undertook the task of establishing the Institute of Contemporary China Studies and compiling national history. It should be said that he is a very suitable candidate.

In his preface, Song Ping commented on Deng Liqun as follows: Liqun's bones are hard, and there is a kind of feeling, backbone, and principle of communist intellectuals.

Deng Liqun, two years older than Song Ping, was a former secretary of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee and director of the Central Propaganda Department, and died of illness on February 10, 2015, at the age of 100, and at the farewell ceremony of his body, Xi Jinping and other members of the Standing Committee went to Babaoshan to bid farewell.

In addition, Song Ping wrote the foreword to the March 2013 issue of the Diary of the Republic.
