On the afternoon of October 22, the 2021 Phoenix Authors Annual Conference was held in Nanjing, and nearly 100 writers and scholars gathered in Nanjing. Under the witness of the on-site guests, Phoenix Media and Beijing Normal University held a cooperation signing ceremony.
Zhang Qinghua, executive director of the International Writing Center of Beijing Normal University, and She Jiangtao, general manager of Phoenix Publishing and Media Co., Ltd., took the stage to sign the contract.
Phoenix Publishing & Media Group continues to deepen its close ties with outstanding authors, build an influential professional platform in the country, and launch high-quality publications. At the first annual meeting of authors, four key studios were established: Liu Dong, Sun Xiaoyun, Huang Beijia and Liu Jintian. Six major projects were signed last year.
This year, the International Writing Center of Beijing Normal University has more than ten well-known writers in residence, such as Mo Yan, Jia Pingwa, Yu Hua, Yan Geling, Ouyang Jianghe, Su Tong, Xichuan, Chi Zijian, Zhai Yongming, Ge Fei, Han Shaogong, and Ah Lai, with rich original resources. Mo Yan is the first and so far the only Chinese writer to win the Nobel Prize in Literature, with world-class influence and appeal.
The cooperation between Phoenix Media and Beijing Normal University will further enhance the overall strength of Phoenix Media in the field of original literature publishing.
