In the 1962 Yue opera movie "Dream of the Red Chamber", I only saw it for the first time in the 1980s, when thousands of people watched the grand situation of this Yue opera opera movie in the empty alley, I could not imagine it, but in the eyes of my middle school students at that time, this movie was absolutely stunning, and it was called a luxurious dream.
The movie is relatively long, nearly three hours, mainly focusing on Bao Dai love. From the million-word tome, only the fragment of Bao Dai's love affair was selected for 160 minutes, but despite this, the three-hour volume still did not seem to be enough.
The great simplification of the original plot makes "Dream of the Red Chamber" itself shallow, and many people's understanding of the Dream of the Red Chamber is limited to these, in fact, in my opinion, it is impossible to adapt "Dream of the Red Chamber" into a movie. If it is adapted into an episode of about an hour or so, it may be possible to try it in the form of an American drama - but in fact, it will be very difficult to adapt the Red Chamber in any form. However, the 62nd edition of the Dream of the Red Chamber of Yue Opera is always my favorite version of the Dream of the Red Chamber!
This movie from the protagonist to the supporting role can be described as a master gathering - the national treasure level artists have left us, and the Yue opera has become a masterpiece.
I fell in love with it from the first time I saw it, it was so beautiful. From a cinematic point of view, scene scheduling, sets, editing, tones, and performances are perfect. Especially this set, it is almost against the sky!

Limited by the length of the film and the artistic expression of the opera, this film only focuses on Bao Dai's love, and other details are cut, but fortunately the narrative is smooth.
Dai Yu's steps into the house were absolutely weak willow supporting the wind I was deeply impressed at that time - Wang Wenjuan, who was 36 years old at the time, was no longer in the posture of a young girl, but she could perform such a graceful figure, which was simply admired.

Looking at the subtitles deliberately to understand the meaning of each sentence, the creation of the lyrics and the text reorganization have really helped to interpret more of the author's will, and the text is quite successful.
In terms of plot, the story of the Dream of the Red Chamber is integrated into the year, with four distinct seasons, smooth turning and clean cuts.

At the end of the play, Baoyu throws away the psychic Treasure Jade - throwing it away as a useless thing is better than smashing it hard in the TV series.
And Baoyu's escape into the empty door is also prompted by the bell tone, and these two places are wonderful pens.
