After careful consideration and research, Gao Qi came up with the method of "singing ancient poems", that is, to let students use "singing" instead of "memorizing" to learn Chinese.

Usually, Gaoqi pays attention to collecting audio-visual materials related to teaching content from the Internet, and tries to learn to sing ancient poems with students in morning reading classes. In this regard, the children feel fresh and novel, almost do not need to memorize by rote, not only quickly memorize ancient poems, but also some children dance and self-intoxicated in the "singing".

This also greatly encouraged the high flag. Drawing on her experience in singing ancient poems, she tries to get students to read texts with movements. To this end, she purchased or developed some teaching props at her own expense to guide students to read aloud in different roles. At the same time, she integrates the teaching methods of beat recitation and mind mapping into the language classroom, so that children can remember it several times when learning long and difficult ancient texts, and learn complex modern texts to clarify their thinking with guide maps.

Gao Qi, who tasted the sweetness, also put forward the "beat recitation method" and "situational mind map teaching method", and independently developed the "Zaozhuang Experimental School Beat Recitation Teaching Courseware". Over the past few years, her classic recitation programs "Children's Fun", "Young Hero Wang Erxiao", "Reading With My Growth", etc., have frequently won awards in the city's primary and secondary school classic recitation competitions.

The improvement of recitation teaching ignited Gao Qi's passion for innovative practice in the field of poetry research.

In May 2018, Gao Qi was selected to participate in the training class for backbone teachers of classic recitation and Chinese excellent cultural traditions in Shandong Province. This training made her and chanting inextricably linked.

"This is my close and systematic contact with chanting, and I feel that this is the most beautiful song in China and the most important tone of classical recitation." Gao Qi said that the training allowed her to form a "precise, broad, multi-dimensional, deep" concept of recitation and the determination to start the exploration of poetry.

Drawing on the experience of the university in organizing the Federation of Societies, she has successively set up "Literary Society", "Poetry Society" and "Drama Society" to guide and carry out activities on a regular basis.

In March last year, Feng Jialin, a Chinese teacher and researcher at the Zaozhuang Municipal Academy of Education and Sciences, gave Gao Qi an important task: to prepare the teaching example "Mencius" and participate in the preparation of the city's primary and secondary school students' classic recitation site meeting. Two months later, she submitted to the Academy of Educational Sciences a copy of the "Implementation Plan for the Creation of Ancient Poetry and Poetry in the Unified Edition of Language Textbooks".

This programme coincides with the idea of the municipal Academy of Educational Sciences to establish a regional traditional culture team organization. Subsequently, the "Zaozhuang Traditional Culture Research and Promotion Center" was officially established, and the education research and promotion of traditional culture was organized by a regional team in Zaozhuang. With the efforts of Gao Qi, the public account "Meet classics" of ancient poetry and chanting resources of the unified compilation textbook came out.

Among them, the most attractive flags are the curriculum, teaching, classroom and students. On New Year's Day 2019, Gaoqi organized and planned a series of exhibition and performance activities of the school's "Knowing the Classics and Inheriting Kindness". She experimented with multidisciplinary design, and implanted multidisciplinary teaching styles such as language recitation, music calligraphy and painting, and practical activities into the activities.

She led the Chinese teachers to form a "Women's Army", purchased and produced ornaments such as Yang Lian, banners, lanterns, Chinese knots, window flowers, New Year paintings, etc. at her own expense, asked music and art teachers to guide the exhibition, transformed the school library building into a traditional exhibition and performance market, and invited parents of students to catch up with the big market, watch programs, and appreciate calligraphy and paintings.
