"Painting as the Voice of the Heart- Invitation Exhibition of Shandong Oil Painting Masters"
Although the development of Chinese oil painting art is relatively short in time, after decades of continuous catch-up, Chinese contemporary oil painting has shown a thriving situation, and gradually explored a path of oil painting creation in line with Chinese characteristics in terms of art form, style and artistic concept. As a famous fine arts province, Shandong also has an important position in the field of oil painting creation in China. Shandong oil painters have their own strengths in different fields, pay attention to the basic tradition and theoretical conception of creation, and are good at absorbing avant-garde ideas in the tolerance of profound traditional cultural heritage, so as to comprehensively promote the prosperity of Qilu oil painting art.
As an academic overview of the development of contemporary Shandong oil painting, "Painting as the Voice of the Heart - Invitation Exhibition of Shandong Oil Painting Masters" is based on the 11th Calligraphy and Painting Masters Exposition, which opened on September 19, with the intention of highlighting the excellent style of Shandong oil painting and exploring the development direction of contemporary oil painting art by showing the artistic expression and artistic pursuit represented by Shandong oil painting artists.

Li Yang
Li Yang, male, Manchu, born in March 1984 in Laiwu, Shandong, was admitted to Shandong Art College from Feicheng No. 1 Middle School in 2004, and graduated from Shandong Art College with a master's degree in oil painting in 2013, under the tutelage of Mr. Wang Like. In 2017, he participated in the "National Art Fund National Oil Painting Portrait High-end Talent Training Project" seminar of the Central Academy of Fine Arts. He is a director of the Shandong Young Artists Association and the secretary general of the Oil Painting Art Committee of the Jinan Youth Artists Association. He is currently teaching at the First Studio of Oil Painting of the Academy of Fine Arts of Shandong Academy of Arts.
