He said: "There is a popular saying now called 'returnees come ashore, and the turtles get out'. Returnees refer to those who have returned from abroad, while the turtles are cultivated by ourselves. The strength of returnees is that the knowledge they learn is more original, but they may not be completely integrated into China's reality, and some of them do not even know what ST and PT are. The earth turtle is just the opposite. I'm a turtle keeper myself, and the turtles I raise are not bad. ”
"The returnees are favored by everyone, and there may be another reason why foreign monks chant the sutra. But in fact, there may also be many local monks who can recite the sutra well. Different positions require different talents, not as long as the academic qualifications are good, nor are those who have studied well, the key is to see the effect. ”
"Many places come to me to give lectures, maybe because I am a foreign monk for many places, but I know that in the places where I go, there are my old classmates and students, who are of good quality, but they have not been able to play well, and they should be given more opportunities to play."
